I just think Araki had to get the cookie cutter ones out of the way before going too crazy with the concept.

There are some interesting ones, but later parts really start to show the creativity.
They do get better as Part 3 goes along, upgrading from Fire, Clairvoyance, Fast Punching and Fast Swording to some more clever ones.
I mean, it's just one of those things they did have to change. Like Dio reading the Quran in the original OVA series, no spoilers for anything other than Dio reads a book at some point which led to Shueisha combing over everything and asking Araki to redraw pages that had buildings that could be mistaken for a mosque.
I'm sure David Production wouldn't want to be responsible for something like that happening again, it's just avoiding a possible legal headache.
And now conspiracy theorists are going to cry foul that David Production is covering up that Araki predicted 9/11.

Viz Media's manga release.
Second part of the N'Doul fight was solid, didn't do much different from the ova and the iconic Dog Pitch scene wasn't as good but it still had some solid shot framing. But now that we've reached the unadapted second half fights like Oingo and Boingo, things are getting really exciting.
Crazy coincidence, especially with the context that the panel foresees the future.

The thread title even states no manga spoilers allowed. I would be pissed at some of these comments if I hadn't already read the manga.
Major overreaction. I mean, it's definitely annoying, and people shouldn't be making comments like that, but it's really not that big of a deal.
