The word we are getting is that the big change that Dixie Carter is tweeting on her Twitter account is not something related to Slammiversary but something that is much bigger for the company as a whole.

There has been a lot of talk that the company has reached out to people to enhance and/or overhaul the creative end of the company and we can confirm that the two most prominent names discussed internally are Kevin Sullivan and Paul Heyman.

As we have mentioned previously on the site, Heyman has been on the TNA radar for a while now. The story we have gotten is that for Heyman to come in, he would need complete control of the creative process (or at least as much as a booker can have in 2010). We can also confirm that they have spoken with Sullivan as well.

We will have more on this story as soon as we can confirm it.

I would die for an angry intense "My Name Is Bryan Danielson" promo. Start ripping in the the guys the back, saying "they thought you would like Daniel Bryan more." Kick someone's head in, explain why he is so great...

...and then leave to The Final Countdown.
 
In kayfabe terms though, it doesn't make much sense since Danielson shouldn't even have a contract with the WWE, right?

In any case, can't wait to see how it plays out.

DB still had a developmental contract (as do all the rookies except Barrett). My guess is he'll be rehired under his real name on the next Raw.

Just got back from the Orlando FCW show tonight. It was really fun, but there wasn't anything crazy like this. When Darren Young (with his hair looking like Justin Gabriel's hair) faced Wes Briscoe, Micheal Tarver ran out to push Wes off the top rope and then they beat up on Wes together until Titus O'Neal came out to run them off.

I did get a nice glare from Young when I called him Black Cena tho :lol .
 
Oh no, it just struck me that Vince could be the man behind the NXT storyline. He said Bret would have to make some big decisions, and he probably be the mastermind behind the whole thing to push Bret out as GM...

...I dont blooming want Vince in this angle!!!

I was too happy Cena was getting his head kicked in to form coherent though until now.

I dunno why you guys are hyped about Raw on Monday. You forget it's the last Raw before the ppv. They'll tease some answers but they'll hold it off til the ppv.
 
I don't know, doesn't seem like a work to me, and I'd be the first to call out a worked shoot. Why him and no one else? He didn't even have a contract in kayfabe world, and they did use his real name in the announcement so it's not like he's going to come back with it.

Edit: Meltzer confirms it's a work.
 
Had to cut DB so they could sign Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer. They're basically the NTX of Smackdown.

I'd believe that's possible if he didn't finish the twitter post with "the winds of change are stirring". The exact same thing Barrett's been saying for the past 2 weeks. I just find it really hard to believe it's not a work.

That part actually made me think it was a shoot, because he doesn't seem like the kind of guy that would parrot company catchphrases. Danielson's a smart guy, he knows irony and sarcasm.
 
Within WWE, the word has been sent out internally that the Bryan Danielson firing is legitimate. All the higher-ups in the company were informed that he was gone before the item that everyone assumes to be a work was put on the web site. It's difficult to believe given the timing that it could possibly be legitimate. The idea they would work Donna Goldsmith and Michelle Wilson on a wrestling angle is also hard to fathom, and we've already seen examples of companies trying to work its employees and they are never good in the long-run.

So, there's two options at this point. Danielson is legit fired or Vince is trying to work his entire company. Vince has pulled this shit before, coughDonaldTrumpcough, but never at this level.

I don't know what to think.
 
Storyline wise wasn't he was already released? He signed a 1 night contract to fight The Miz...or maybe that was just a Raw contract and not a WWE contract.

And they've done "serious" angles before that even the media felt were true.

Look at the Trump Buys RAW angle, and Vince Dies in Explosion angle. Lots of people, including the media, bought into that immediately. Hook, line, and sinker.

I'm still under the belief it is a work. Monday will tell officially once they either mention it on telecast or ignore it; ignoring it would solidify it being legitimate.
 
Fuck you WWE should be arrested for what you did to this man Danielson and what you make him go threw to get notice in WWE no wonder he attack WWE SUperStar(TM) John Cena because how is he gonna feed his kids when you don't give small guys a chance and he did what he had to do to risk his life and right side of the law by attack Cena and choking out Justin Roberts who deserved it for mispronouncing names and stuttering at pay per view. Fuck you asshole.

If the other 6 guys get released then I can see how it would work then...but the fact they haven't is weird.
