He IS a cop on the verge of retirement....![]()
Surely Justified is above such a cliched ending for a character....
relax, Art will be here next season
he'll help put Raylan in prison
I'm a little fuzzy on last season, what happened at the air field that they keep talking about?

Well, when Arlo shot Tom Bergen it was kinda similar. I think he kept mentioning his son's game or something throughout the episode.
After the season ends, I'd like the writers to reveal what their original plans were for The Haitian.
I hope AV Club does those post-season walkthroughs with Graham Yost. Those are always great.
I've got a feeling that after this season, Raylan won't be part of the Marshall service anymore. Like, Art will help cover up his involvement, but he'll cut him loose.
And then... what's Raylan without the badge?
Oh man, thatat the endpunch![]()
What on earth was Raylan thinking with that last comment? Art is a bro, but he's not going to let that slide. Maybe he knew Art already had it sussed and wants to get ahead of it? Could this be his end game? 'Leave' the Marshall service at the end of the season to be with his kid, and the final season is Raylan trying to tie up loose ends?
EDIT: also, why the fuck Raylan told Art about the Augustine thing?
That is pretty simple. Raylan couldn't let somebody else be blamed for this.
He is not (yet ?) a criminal who doesn't give a shit.
I don't know... The FBI guy was dead anyway and was a crook besides.
I don't think Raylan and co. know that conclusively, though.
70 minute episode again tonight.Kill the Messenger
An attack on Alison sends Raylan to Harlan in search of payback; Boyd scrambles to arrange protection for Ava.
Ava is gonna die, I just know it![]()
- Esquire Interview: Timothy Olyphant on the End of Justified and His Career Choices
ESQ: Do you get to boss around your co-stars anymore?
TO: Oh, no. I've been bossing them around since we started. I pretend to feel uncomfortable doing it but I enjoy it thoroughly.
I hear they have a lot of material lined up for him in Season 7.Tim always makes the most of his few scenes
