Institutionalized is literally the best track Kendrick Lamar has ever made, fell in love with it and can't get over it.
That beat change everytime.

Only got to listen to the first half and even then while doing other stuff and not with my headphones but damn I was really liking it, was lowering my expectations greatly after seeing a lot of negative impressions. Excited to give it a serious listen later, production was on point.

Fucking Kendrick. Just...shit, man. Week starting off right already. This is the farthest thing from "polarizing". Where yall coming from with that? I'm trying to calm down and not be swept up in new-album smell but this feels genuis already. I can't even remember what I like most. I like it all. I love it. Fuckkkkkkkk. Do yall hear this?? This is some decandant shit. The musicality. At a loss for words.

'i' makes a lot more sense in the context of the album.

Yep. And I hated it when it released. But as you said it fits. Everything fits.

Not sure whether this it's on purpose like the end of 'The Wall' by Pink Floyd where the last few seconds of the 'Outside The Wall' loops back into 'In the Flesh' effortlessly.

But 'Mortal Man' loops round nicely into the start of 'Wesley's Theory'

the second listen through... yeah, wow. Great album.

What the fuck, the album leaked, so they bumped the release date? I just woke up and I see twitter exploding and this thread expanded by like 4 pages. I hadnt even preordered the shit yet.

1500 or Nothing (my favourite ensemble) never fail me. Production while not personally my favorite type of sound it's simply breathtaking production, doesn't get it right every time but that blend of uptempo jazz, soul and funk is a really unique combination (in this day and age). You can tell alot of that was recorded live, I do miss that sound as it really makes a diff in my opinion. On my first listen a very very good album and will probably get better with time, I think people should try stay away from GKMC comparisons.

I'll actually try do a thorough review on this album havent digested it lyrically as yet.

There is an error with ITunes. To bypass the error right now, goto your music app and and find the preorder song Blacker the Berry and press Show Complete Album. Should come up with the option to Complete Your Album. Here is where the error lies, the song is still tied to an untitled album. You have to spend an extra buck and rebuy the whole album.

It's pretty hard to justify keeping a Google All Access sub when this shit happens. I guess I'll try Spotify when my sub runs out. It doesn't even matter if they add the album by the end of the day, when you are thisty as a motherfucker every second counts.

Hood Politics is hit and miss with me. I don't know what it is about that song...atleast it's not on the level of For Free?

U starting to grow on me once I marinated in the track.

Loving u is complicaATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

The album is like experiencing a bizarre dream you don't want to wake up from. It pulls you in deeper and deeper the more you keep going.
