My PS3 died today, so I won't be able to play with you guys properly until the PS3 slim comes out. And as it's Sony it'll probably release at £399 or something ridiculous, so I'll have to wait for a price drop on that. :p

My brother is staying for a few months and he has a PS3, so I might be able to use that now and again but I probably wont be able to play anything regularly with you guys until I get my own around Christmas at the earliest. Have fun anyway.

If you can ever get down to the computer fair at the birmingham motorcycle museum, you can pick up brand-new 80Gig PS3s for £220. It happens fortnightly on saturdays, AFAIK.

Thanx guys. Yeh, I'll definitely miss gaying up the GAFe chat the most. :lol

I just called Sony and they said it'll cost £145 for a replacement which will be a 60GB with BC, and will be a "re-manufactured" model rather than a refurb. Hmm probably lying. Was thinking maybe I could get it for £145 and sell it on eBay for more :lol But that's too much effort for me. :p

It would only have a 3 month warranty as well.

Think I'll be waiting for the slim. Might take it to a local shop I know and see how much it would take to fix. Or see how much I can sell it for!

I even tried the old tricks of: "really... I thought Microsoft gave out 3 year warranties?"
"Guess I wont be able to Beta test your games anymore... oh yes I'm a Beta tester!"
"Shame I avoided buying a 360 due to hardware issues and my PS3 dies in two years :("

But none of them worked :lol The customer services guy was nice enough tho. oh well.

I have some epic pics of these past days but I don't wanna get my ass banned again.

btw i read MJ is being cremated. They're going to put his ashes into an Etch a Sketch so the kids can play with him instead of him playing with them.

Yeah well to be completely honest I didn't really feel anything special. Relieved, and happy yeah. But not like I was feeling like hopping everywhere and stuff. More like "Sooo... that's it?". But I hear it's usually what happens. We don't have an awesome ceremony with robes and hats and stuff either, so that doesn't help I guess.

Anyway.

Oh, and regarding your vest, I haven't seen the pic myself, but I kept hearing folks talk about it :p

Back on topic, I guess the clan is full by now? If some people from the US still want to join, we might kick a couple more people off. AFAIK there were some that I haven't seen in months.

Congratz again by the way! And it's a jacket not a vest!!! And it's FABULOUS!!!

There's a couple of new members who were like the bottom rank which I added out of courtesy but you can delete them if necessary. :p

And yeh there were 3 from the old GAFe which I hadn't seen play in ages who were still on the roster who can be removed but I think we still have a few spaces left so it should be ok. You guys should start organizing a bunch of clan matches for everyone and start having some fun with the game again. Get everyone involved now. Sad I can't join :(
