I just completed the 8th mission in single player mode and, holy shit, that was absolutely incredible. It's familiar mission type
escape the exploding ship
but I think they did a better job than any other game. It really felt as if you were working through a MASSIVE structure with lots of action going on all around you. The gun fights were incredible, the atmosphere extremely memorable, and the visuals just :O. It looks really different from the rest of the game as well.

The first half of KZ2 is great, but the second half is where the game has been elevated to levels comparable to Halo, Gears, Crysis, and other great first person shooters.

I simply wish there was more content here. Now that I'm really feeling the controls and loving the missions, I just want more!!! At least I can say that virtually every fire fight feels finely crafted.

The amazing colored lighting there together with the excellent image quality really gives that whole area a "CG" look, moreso than in any other area in the game.

That's unfortunate. Those single-player campaigns left a great deal to be desired. Would've been worse if you also added Resistance, though. ;)

Okay, that's better. I wouldn't put Gears' and Halo's single-player in the same sentence as Crysis, personally.

Got up to Sergean Major or whatever the 3 (((> is in my first 3 games, pretty awesome the controls are taking some fucking getting used to, not the button lay out just the targeting, wasted a whole clip with the shotgun before i hit a guy a few meters away, luckily he was having same issue with the pistol.

But anyways fun fuckin game.

that is actually amazing, mine is a little depressing :(

what tactics do people have? im not very into fps normally so this is a shock to me, i played a fair bit of resistance 1, but not for a while and i was just run/gun in that which gets me killed... quickly... in this - any tips for a n00b?

Some gamestops are doing it. Try the ones that aren't in big malls.

Seems very random. Doesn't look like any Gamestop/EBs are doing midnight launches around my area (Maryland). I'd call and ask.

Seems like every damn person has the game now. :lol

Need confirmation on this if anyone can. Ribbons don't specify per round anymore, and I'm sure I didn't get 10 headshots in one round to get the ribbon but maybe I did...

If it was per game I'd have a Killing Specialist ribbon for every game I've played which I don't have... *confused*

I don't know which it is.

This is some of my major concerns that I thought was the standard for an FPS multiplayer.
This must be fixed asap.

Why do I have to start a new server to be able to change settings?
Why cant I disable bots when I think there is enough PPl in the server.
Why can all chat whit each other at the same time? I know that you can talk to ppl when you are close to them, but not otherwise.
Why cant I talk to all my team mates without having to start an group?
Why is the quality of the voip so bad?
Why is that so hard to change team? You must enable "not balanced teams" to be able to switch teams...
WHY is there no PARTYMODE?!

This must be fixed, I and many of my friends play allot of Mp and there is many futures that I though was standard that is not in KZ2 mp. Why is that? Can this be fixed tempy? Ian Howie?

I really would like to get this answered.

Can you stick to one class the whole time and still amount points to unlock other classes, or do you have to switch to the next class and gain points to unlock other ones?

You can stick to one and unlock all the classes. BUT you have to use the individual classes in order to unlock their secondary abilities and then the ability to create a hybrid class.

They are, and people are apparently "cheating" the system by filling the entire server with bots on easy and ranking up that way alongside another human.

And I use the term cheating loosely, since GG had almost certainly already considered this and apparently decided to leave it be.

The less "real" people in a ranked game, the less experience you get. Like, exponentially less, so if they are trying to rank up that way, good luck to them, because it's going to take a hell of a lot longer.

Didn't know the ranking is important to most of the players. But the skill won't improving alot if keep "cheating". That's why I don't care them.

Play with cheaters in fair match, they will extreme shitting in the pants.

I was afraid of that. Its stupid that they would even consider leaving that in there :(
Anyways only 7 more hours for me to get my hands on this sexy beast :D
