Someone there used an analyzing tool, from there I made some slight adjustments.

This looks pretty great with my setup, your results may vary but I'm interested to see if it works for others also.

I'd say the laptop for now, but that's just me. If you get the laptop, make sure you upgrade to Windows 7 when it releases. It's really quite nice and I think new Vista pre-installs will let you upgrade for free or get a rebate.
If you can wait a year on the TV, you'll probably get twice the set for your money. The tech in flat panels is advancing very rapidly. At CES they showed many of these advances such as super thin sets, 240hz refresh rate, wireless HDMI, and ridiculously good black levels.
