When we start playing regularly I'm sure they'll be people who rarely turn up or just don't like the game so I'm sure I can slip you in later ;)

No music, it believe it was a conscious decision. While it worked in the early levels it was apparent that in certain levels, it would have been so much more immersive with a little score in the background.

Because over half the regulars were banned for requesting clown porn. :lol

And well, we're kinda done with discussion. Reviews are pretty much all out now, it's got a 93 average blah blah, critics think it's awesome, people here who have played it all think it's awesome. We've all seen all the footage we want to see, more than we want to see actually, we've seen the updated online now. Nothing much left except to play it, but we still have to wait 2 weeks for some stupid reason...

I'm glad, the other thread was such a big clusterfuck that I stopped going to it, this one is much better.

Dammit, there's a whole new bunch of assholes on my friends list who have the game now. *sigh* >_<

Can't wait til we're all playing Killzone 2 on a regular basis, was great seeing half the guys on my friend list playing it everyday, back then at least!

could you rank up from playing matches with only bots? Also, the animation for the different classes in the menus are a lot better then in the beta. it looks really awesome now

It's like a daily ritual for me to play the KZ2 demo at least once per day now. Love it. Gotta love that AI and how the fire fights can play out different each time. This game can't get here soon enough.

BTW - Awesome job on the OP.

Yeah was in the GoW3 thread. There's a party going on there >_> Oh yeah curses to all who have it already or have friends who have the game already. They'll have so much practice and memorize all the maps.

You need at least one other person with you. As long as there is another player, you'll level up normally.

My stats say completed 27 percent of Single Player. And there is no way i am only 27 percent of campaing done. I know i am much much farther.

ANyone can confirm if there stats are correct or not?

I think that takes into the amount of collectibles you've picked up. Someone earlier said they finished the game with only 65% completion.

This is one reason why I love counter strike and will love this game. Sorry for quoting you for this. It is also the reason I hate playing COD4. Hardly any recoil, weapons well most of them feel the same, all have similar damage, stick auto aim. I want a game with weapon that kicks and take skills, aiming skills to get kills.

Ok, here is a nice story. I was in an establishment. Not gonna say which type, except there were women, scantily clad and dancing. Anyways I was talking with one of the girls that works there. She said she was a gamer. I was pretty much saying that she was saying that to get a tip from me. Then she went on to say she has a ps3 and likes playing games on it like VC and MGS4 and other titles like pain and that she just bought flower yesterday. Anyways we kept talking about games and stuff and the conversation got turned on KZ2. We obviously gushed about the graphics and the neat gameplay. I told her to get a EU account to DL the demo she said ok. Long story short, she liked talking with me so much that she gave me a free lap dance. The moral of the story-

Killzone 2- so good it gets you lap dances.

it gets you phone numbers too /wink

I realize that this is a sensitive issue among very sensitive people but I've got to ask;

Can those of you that have the game confirm that the input lag issue in the demo has been corrected in the game?

My girlfriend is trying to decide whether or not to buy MGS4 or Killzone 2 for my Vday gift and this is really the only issue that would keep me from wanting it. I've read statements from the developer that said the issue isn't present on the disk but I would prefer that that be confirmed by a GAF member if it hasn't already because it's highly distracting to me.

This is a deal breaker to me for what was an amazing experience otherwise. I can't adapt to that.

For anyone that's interested, some guy did a video walkthrough of the game (i havent watched it) but it only lasted 4:47:46 on veteran difficulty. It also looks like the full game only has like 3 or 4 more levels than that preview copy all the reviewers played.

That's ridiculously short. It was supposedly in progress but hes made it all the way to the end credits already so i doubt its a mistake.
