BTW, GAF US East is still undefeated. :D

I still remember in the lobby before the GAF vs. GAFe game, I didn't know what GAFe stood for. So I was like "WTF is this shit? We're playing another GAF East clan?" Nobody responded... >.>
I thought GAFe was GAF East 2 or something, lol.

ok back fresh of a 3 month ban... finally able to post some impressions

i really liked the sp, mostly the last couple of missions... pretty much enjoyed it..

MP was a bit of a let down for me, mostly due to all of the problems it had... also i kinda fell out with my GAF people (except FFObsessed) due to being banned and unable to view the online board... i hate playing by myself, and the guys i played cod4 with returned the game...
but i plan on purchasing that map pack today when i get home and plan on getting in killzone again, i just cant let it go.. miss the chirp

edit: also if someone can give me some impressions on the new map packs etc. this thread is to big to search

They've always been cocky (and weird).
If we can get all the top players from GAFA to play in round 4 of GAFA vs. GAFe, I'd come back from my break and rejoin GAFA just for that 1 game.

I am sure that won't be an issue. Lets get the gears turning. What will be the player count of the game in question 8vs8? And what date works for most people? Sunday evening?

Both are medium sized maps. Vekta (ship) is ok but Wasteland(train) is pretty sick. I like both of the maps but I think that Wasteland is a great map, and it easily makes up for paying 6$.

What/whenever it is, I hope this time, GAFA makes all the rules and sends out the challenge. I hate how GAFe always makes up the rules and stuff...

8v8 Salamun Market would be epic.
Increase Search and Destroy timer to 8-10 minutes. 5 minutes is too short of a time for that game mode. I also wouldn't mind a slightly lengthier Cap & Hold.

The best thing about both of these maps is that they are completely different in design and layout from any of the other maps. Vekta Cruiser while is a claustrophobic set of corridors is actually quite open. There's never less than 4 routes to any one room; is much different from the cramp corridors of Blood Gracht where the map design funnels players down to two areas.

Wasteland is a outstanding map if you don't mind environmental hazards. It has a very fresh original design.

A top8 vs top8 would be a very close and interesting game. One issue though is who gets to host? I've been playing with you guys in the US the last couple of nights and some games are almost unplayable for me with the amount of lag going on. Obviously it's the same for you fellas when you play on our servers. So is there a fair solution or do we leave it to randomness?

Unfortunately for me if it is the top players,it's a game I would miss (I played in all the others) as I don't even scrape into GAFe's top 10 let alone 8 :lol Definitely a game i'm gonna make time to spectate on though.

A possible fair solution would be to make it so one team gets the host while the other selects the match and mission settings in a custom game. Unfortunately from my understanding in official clan games the host is randomly selected.

LOL, rage-quit. I'm sure that's what you Euros tell yourselves whenever players from the opposing team disconnects and can't get back into the match. >.>

So engineer class is pretty sweet. Finally unlocked it and in my first game using it I was crushin' folks. Love that shotgun. And I'll just camp behind my turret.

God, please no. Why do people always call me an assault whore lol - I almost exclusively play tactician.

Slightly longer times on S&D and C&H are good but don't make them too long. 8v8 max, preferably less in my opinion but then you obviously have less players and a lot of people wanting to play.

We always set it up because you guys never get round to doing anything, by all means set it up but make it the usual time so both sides have a good chance at having the players available.

10dollars and Lyulf always t-bag me after killing me and AJ always joins my game/team and begins punching me in the face for a few mins. Always makes me laugh. :lol

I love playing with kitton as he's as determined as me to win every round. Makes it fun. I don't really like clan games as much as just playing with Lince/Cagen/Dez/AJ/Neg/Raist/Live/Chryz/TTP/Viper/RICK/BACON (nom nom nom) and some GAFA guys in random games. We just have a laugh at the same time as trying to win every round. Clan games are too serious... as evidenced by the meltdowns :lol And who wins is just determined by who plays. I've only played in 1 of them I think... oh and 1 against GAF East where we lost on points I think? Can't remember.

I think someone's just feeling left out as they Rage-Quitted their entire clan for not being serious enough :lol

LOL, left out? Nah. And no, I didn't quit the clan because GAFA wasn't serious enough.

If you must know why I quit GAFA, it's because too many people complained about not doing well in clan matches, but yet most don't care enough to practice by showing up and playing in scheduled games. Yes, that even includes our "leader," who probably complains the most, about not doing well in clan games but never bothers to show for most clan games. Combine all that with the fact that clan matches can be so easily exploited, there was little point in staying with GAFA... other than the nightly games you guys play with FF on (which I hate), that usually end up having unbalanced teams.

I knew there'd be consequences for me getting back onto a respectably productive daily schedule. Sometimes in the middle of the night, usually around 1:30 in the morning, I'd wake up from an uneasy sleep and feel a distinct emptiness, as if there was something I'd usually do at that time that was now missing. I'd remember strange voices. At times they'd just say "Yesssss!" in a strange mix of whisper and triumphant scream, at other times it was something like "nom nom nom" I couldn't make much sense of.

I'd just shake it off, turn around. Once or twice I pushed left a little and wondered why no turret appeared. Someone else must have already placed them all. Or something.

Played a concert on Sunday, had to do some prep, and was just generally shit-tired. I'll miss tonight's clan tourney match again due to band practice. I'll try and catch up with you guys on the weekend though.
