You could do that, but I want to force no HUD for all players. Otherwise Ill just play with a big disadvantage.

Yeah, the name's really stuck out to me during the MP footage. It'd be nice if you could toggle them on/off or make it so you have to hold your reticule over someone for a given amount of time before their name popped up.

After carefully looking into this, reading the posts, talking to a lot of you directly and analysing the controls at GG we have come to the conclusion that there are no changes required to the system. If at all, any changes to the controls would put the majority of people who have not had problems or have adapted out of whack, which may be more serious. Killzone 2 is a weighty, slower, more tactical first person experience that focuses on immersion. It is not a twitchy, split-second gun-wielding experience like some shooters. Also, the online experience is quicker as we've made the controls and animations a little faster during design.



I want to thank you all for your often constructive feedback, both positive and negative and we'll continue to take it all on board to help us make better games. It is almost time folks. Lets enjoy it.

I still want to be able to customize aiming acceleration independently from maximum turning speed!

Still haven't watched any MP videos or any more KZ2 videos. Just going to be in black-out til the game launches. Though I'll probably be here night before release to see all the craziness. You guys better keep your spoilers on check! XD

Maybe me? But I was going on about the actual input delay, not the weighty feel. FWIW, the people who complain about the weighty feel and are canceling their preorders are just as annoying to me as they are to you all. It's just that there's also actual input delay that adds to the sluggishness, in everything you do, even firing your gun (which should be instant). While only a small percentage of us notice it, it is indeed there and shouldn't be joked about. Seb and others haven't addressed that.
 
I don't know if this has been talked about yet. I know you can split-screen with bots, but does anyone know if you can play split-screen online?

And just for the record, I still want crouch toggle to be in the game as an option. Doesn't make sense to have zoom toggle but no crouch toggle.

if you crouch and get close to an object that can be used as cover you get sucked onto it

Nah I was talking about the guy who wanted to CODify the controls.

No, you can't. For the first and second part of your post. There is no split screen at all.

Really? I could have sworn I read somewhere that you can do split-screen offline somewhere. I must be going crazy waiting for Killzone.

Just make it so I don't have to keep that fucking trigger pressed when I'm diving into cover and want to check out my surroundings.

Sorry No SPlit Screen.

But trust me. MP is Wicked. Actual Dynamic weather effects your gameplay. Huge maps. The last thing you will be thinking about would be no Split screen.

You have no idea what you are about to get into

I like the throaty retorts of the Helghast in this sequel. It was annoying as hell in the first game, but here it works much better.

It's strange, but this is one of the few FPS games I don't mind having split-screen for. I want to see it in all of it's glory.

I remember playing CoD5: WoW split-screen.... yikes! Talk about downgrade!

that is where he has that account. I think he said that after they decided
not to tweak the controls after a relatively few number of people bitched
