Edit: On a more serious note just play with the active members of GAFe. You will get good fast if you play with them consistently.

wow i took a few weeks off from playing, they made some pretty nice additions to the game searching. this game is still fuckin awesome. got a few hours in with a buddy of mine who moved out of the country, i never used to play straight body count games.i think im going to start:D

GG guyz, tough to be on the losing side, well at least we won that last mission and defended the S&D target, not sure if Lemm and Mhead got too frustrated and left or they got disconnected.

Combination of both. The game kept hanging up/stalling on the loading and logging in screens, and I just lost patience with it because that Blood Gracht match put me in a bad mood.:lol
Oh well. GG anyways.

I finally forced myself to play through this game despite the audio issues I was having. Basically I had to turn the voices all off which took away from the game. I recorded a few instances of what was happening since it's easier than describing it. I might still send something to Geurilla, or the sony forum, but I probably wont be playing this any more so don't care that much anymore.

I think this problem occurs with certain upgraded 500 GB HDDs. I have seen several topics on the issue in the PS official forums and Killzone.com forums. Dunno how GG is handling it, but you might want to have a look there if you're still interested.

And damn at those videos 0_0 does this game look incredible? Haven't played it for quite a while but I can't believe I'm still very impressed with the visuals even after the ~400 hours I spent on the game.

I haven't had the sound skip like that, but I have noticed spots where dialogue gets cut short. Like at the part where Sev and Garza get past the bridge and jump in the jeep.

Where Sev says "Hey Garza, hold up", sometimes the full sentence won't finish. I don't have an upgraded hard drive either, original 60g one.

Graphics still look damn impressive in those clips too!

gg guys, first time i played a smaller game for like a month :p Damn u AJ, having to deal with you and Lyulf running together double shotgunning is scary. But we won so its all good :lol

How come you guys aren't as active as a clan any more? You seem to have enough active members, especially since the two clans merged...I think you should start playing matches again.

But that's just my opinion :D

Clan matches are pretty much fucked now. Almost every clan cheats or uses cheap tactics. Its rare to actually find a decent clan match where both teams play fairly. That's why my clan just stopped played competitively altogether. I wish GG would sort that problem out and do something about the cheaters :(

Though it depends on the UK price which I suspect is going to be too high. If that's the case I'll just pay for my PS3 to be repaired and be done with it. Should have a working PS3 in 2-3 weeks either way.

Then I can try the latest KZ2 DLC! :)

Just downloaded the map pack bundle. It was a toss up between that and Quest For Booty. I went for it since some said QFB is really short, hopefully it goes on sale for 9.99 soon since I'm still tempted.

As for the Killzone 2 maps, I can only seem to find body count matches with them. Still fun but that kinda grows old after a few rounds. Beach Head has to be the best looking map from the six pack, imo. Love the rainstorm. This game still blows my mind visually, and I only have an SDTV.

Yesterday i tried to play KZ2 . Its not fun without GAFe.
For some reason the only map played is Radec Academy. Great map but every single game is Radec.

I'm pretty lttp with the single player campaign but I'm almost finished it and wow. I can't remember a game that has made me feel more manly. The turret sections in this game kick so much ass. That train level blew my mind.

I don't see why people call the campaign bland, you get to blow shit up and the story is at least as good as a B grade movie. The pacing is also excellent.
