I think is a better game to play if u have a kid, as it can also be played co-op. The story is oriented to kids but the gameplay can be chalenging, has very solid combat mechanics and boss fights.

On hard the game has legit good challenge and always loved the enemy variety.
They expanded the combat in the second game, to bad they also added many mediocre platform sections, the game is far better as a cartoony brawler than a platformer...
