I hope Shawn Ryan had an ending in mind. He must have known this would be "sunk" though.

3. Is the Captain really crazy or not.
how many episodes can be left to shoot? Aren't they done shooting?
We have time to tweak, confirms Last Resort creator Shawn Ryan, adding that Episode 13 will indeed function as a full-fledged series finale.
how the flying fuck did no one notice the cob not being back for several days
or him crawling back or whatever
christ what a shitty episode
So the COB is still missing? I hope he is going to go T-1000 on Surat
Lol yeah I forgot about the cob. Funny how they keep moving along not doing anything.Yes, and it doesn't seem anyone really notices or cares. Well with the exception of the last episode, but how much time has passed from when he was kidnapped to the last episode?
Holy shit this weeks episode was amazing.
Super tense.
While a COB going missing should raise flags in general, when somebody is potentially awol they usually move on.
The only problem I had with the episode is why Cortez gave a shit about giving back the key if she is a mole for the CIA. She could of just sat back watch shit hit the fan, I'm starting to think maybe she isn't the mole and just took the key to stop Chaplin from actually going through with his threats.

I must of missed the scene where she communicated with the c.i.a.
2 episodes ago. Near the start of the episode Sophie tells the XO the numbers station on the island is shortwave and very difficult to locate. XO tells her to inform him when she finds out more about the signal. Then they cut to Cortez climbing the mountain to the transmitter and opening up her notepad to decode the message. The notepad is already filled with numbers so she's probably been there several times before. When did she use the transmitter? I thought she just buried the key.
One thing that bugged me about that episode is the XO bashing the transmitter instead of using it as bait to discover the saboteur.

Thanks for the info I sort of have a habit missing the first couple of minutes of this show, because I forgot its on or I know they probably have a minute recap before it actually starts.
^He could of gave a local a radio and a couple of hundred bucks to sit on the site from a distance, report the minute somebody shows up.

That ending, quite frankly, was stupid. As much as I like the concept and Andre Braugher, I'm glad the show is ending. At least it doesn't have a chance to become another Homeland.
Well, more the fact that she gets kidnapped only to... get kidnapped again.I dont think it was stupid at all.
Vans dont just blow the fuck up. Made much more sense.
But between this show and Homeland, I'm not even sure if American producers can sustain 13 episodes without heading into Lost territory.

The only thing that episode established was that dude now thinks his wife is dead (from a randomly exploding van, as you say), so what the heck was the point?
Even Awake had to go into crazy land in its last episode, just because it could.Really? What about the myriad shows that do sustain 13 episodes without heading into crazy land?
I suppose it all depends on who gets her. I guess it might make sense if the CIA is behind the second kidnapping. If not, none of it makes sense.CIA wants him back on the island to keep things under control, wasn't going to happen with his wife still alive.
I assume when the time is right, they'll manipulate him with the information that she is alive.
It's a magical kind of blockade that lets everything through that the plot demandsI was confused by how Sam and James made it back to the island. The sub took Sam and James to the Philippines, but how did they get back? The sub didn't bring them back and there's a blockade so it's not like they could have just showed up on a random boat. That didn't make any sense.
Only 3 episodes left!

the shoot of them walking with a bad green screen of Philippines behind them was just embarrassing for everyone involved
