Perhaps you want to play as a mage? lots of damage but squishy. Or a tank? No damage, but you'll have survivability out the ass.

Yes, Malzahar endgame rocks.
Not focusing him is a critical error, since, besides the >1000 damage ultimate, every skill in his kit can wreck a teamfight by area denial or area disable.

A pity that his fucking voidling has the bad habit to stay outside brushes, making ambushes and emergency escapes much more difficult than they should be.

Yesterday I started with rod of ages and then an archangels staff, rabadons and another 2 archangels.

I had 1180 AP with baron on me and my toxic did 1200 damage, my silence wall did 1200 damage and and my ult did shitloads. The round thing did 19% of people's max HP.

I could just destroy the whole team myself

Scarra is such an awesome streamer, always nice as heck and I learn so much from him because he comments during gameplay about every odd end of LoL.

Further to this I would say The Odd One's stream also fall into this category. I learned so much from being a good jungler from him precisely because of his running commentary of everything he does from his item builds which change depending on how his game is going to effective ganking and helping lanes that are being pushed/dominated.

I found out with my 360 that me + headset is not a good thing considering I play most often when everyone else in the house is asleep and well, things tend to get a little heated.

I'm convinced that the easy way to free wins in un-ranked soloq is by screwing up the meta. Go top with someone else with a champ with low level high damage AD, roam around and gank top/mid constantly instead of laning, counter-jungling..

Either no one knows how to stop it or they're too lazy to be bothered.

You have to coordinate strategy before the match starts, though.

Nah.. I'm the type that if I call mid or whatever, I go there. Once in a while I get some jerk who thinks he's entitled to it, even though I call it. I don't like to put up with people like that in this game, because it just reinforces their behavior, so I stay where I say I'm going. Most games get won by doubling up on a lane that is usually single, because you finish up their tower and can rove/gank the other lanes earlier. It makes me wonder if I should just intentionally try to do that more often.. lol. Plus losing a tower so early ruins the morale of the other team. They start name-calling and fighting and before you know it you've got a 20 minute surrender just so they don't have to stay in the game with each other anymore. Psychological warfare, use the terrible attitudes of the people in the DOTA community against each other. lol.

Of course in a ranked game, with people who actually care or strategize, that would never work or fly because the other team would probably adapt.

I'm leveling up a smurf playing with a friend who is new to the game and this is so true among inexperienced players. Played a game the other day where Caitlyn and Kassadin went mid against our Kassidin and they absolutely dominated him.

I ended up switching with him, but at that point they had already taken mid tower within like 10 minutes. He went like 2/18 and lost us the game, accounted for more than half our team's deaths.

the only time "breaking the meta" works is when your opponent is bad enough that even playing the meta they would have lost anyway

usually when I fight two ads at bot or two people at top I just camp tower and farm

Their mid can't level up if you're forcing them out of their lane, denying CS and getting kills.

It's not a strategy to take seriously, just for those unranked solo queue games where it's not a big deal how well you do.

I swear I feel like only playing bot games from now on.

Two times in a row I get in a draft game where 5th pick has asked for AD carry. Both times, someone else took AD before them. One guy let us know he intended to feed, and the other guy just said "you'll wish you didn't do that" and picked Eve.

I was able to queue dodge out of both, but sitting around waiting on the timer just because someone else was an asshole is bullshit.

They probably won't. He is pretty good right now. He was Fotm right after his buff and everyone qqed about him but no nerfs were ever made so i think Riot thinks his pretty balanced as well

They've said they thought they buffed him a tad too much but he's not shen enough to mess with.

Somehow escaped from Pantheon/Warwick trailing just behind me halfway across the map with next to no health as Skarner. Got lucky with the cooldown on my Q at the edge of the bushes and managed to get away to a Sona at my turret. Bless you move speed quints.

Game ended with the other team calling each other Mexicans and "Yankis".

I'm such a nervous wreck when I play ranked. I don't think clearly, overextend, I'm overly aggressive, and generally suck. I lose 3 ranked in a row then switch to normals and win 3 in a row. :\ Normal draft has better players for me than ranked..

I know that feeling, that's why I only play ranked once every 2 weeks. You just have to learn how to scream at other lane for doing stupid stuff, and accept "suggestion" when people screaming stuffs in CAPS at you.

People don't usually rage quit or intentionally feed even if you yell at them at ranked, so take advantage of that and prevent them from making obvious mistake.

Sustain/Tanky. If you do no damage with your Q and can't harass or get kills, you only have your ult cc to contribute in the rest of the game.
