I'm fine with cosplay as long as it doesn't involve wigs or bad hats.

Which leaves me conflicted because most of my favorite characters require one or the other.

But it's ok, I'm glad the gay topic is not about only gay sex, that is the point of a community. And we do have a lot of bad image with some people with the misguided gay stereotype of us being always "obsessed with sex" and the like, until you people start comparing pokemon types, then I remember those stereotypes are just that :p,

At an opening of the Mana Bar in Melbourne, there was a woman cosplaying Link and she hugged some people but not me.

And I just found out now that they closed down. I always meant to visit again. :(

They had a drink called the Ocarina of Lime. But the Breath of Fire was better.

In other news I threw a sock at my Mom for saying faggot and for using Gay as a derivative term. She got really offended but wtf do you expect, you're a 50 year old woman with a Gay child, you'd think she would understand. Worth it imo.

I think they were going for a metro look for him. The line is very blurry at times.

Ok guys and gals so back on topic, I can't help but to talk about this Hustling web series(VERY NSFW but youtube allows it, so take your chances) I watched completely the other night, in one side I've never liked the glamourization of porn, on the other it's a pretty damn interesting watch, and very well made I would say. Plot device: basically, male "straight" gay-for-pay porn performer and prostitute wants a change in his life, I think the series didn't sell it's initial concept in the beginning, but it is enough to keep anyone entertained. I'm maybe late to the party and it has already been discussed here, so apologies of that is the case.

edit: watching that pilot again it's actually awful haha, but it really picks up later.

I've also seen the argument that since our community is oriented around a sexual orientation, with a kind of over-reductive thinking you could inaccurately say that our community is oriented around 'sex'. On the other hand I'm sure an asexual person would say that all of adult human society is inordinately oriented around sex :p

This is really interesting, thanks. I need something to watch these Christmas Vacations so this will do. Really makes me think about what Porn stars do after they don't do porn anymore.
