Agree. Like 80% of my sexual encounters have been drunken hook ups. Everybody is way prettier at that point and hopefully out of my damn bed by the time I wake up.

Honestly, I grew up being told that gays take advantage of people to have sex with them - "adding something to a person's drink" and how they (we) lust over straight guys. So the idea of weed, drinks and sex with a curious "straight" guy makes me feel uneasy about it. I don't know, it's hard to explain... it is a grey area.

I really don't see how Crayons took advantage of him. I mean, his friend talked about his d a lot and he didn't even take him up on that vague "kinda flirting".
And people who generalize it and say that all homosexual people do this are just stuck up little bigots who want to bully minorities in subtle ways.

My father has told me that many times, it is so disgusting. He even says that they would pay me to have sex with them. What he doesn't know is that his son is gay but would never do those things to a straight guy. 😈
Missed this, but my question isn't about crayons... my question arised from the whole talk of salvia, weed, alcohol, sex, the nature of consent, and homophobic stereotypes.

I completely agree. I have said those exact same words to my father, and we always end up having huge arguments about it.
It begs the question, what is "straight"? If we look at early sociologists and sexologists, they looked at the actions of a person to determine if said person was gay or a "homosexual." I think it was Kinsey who said we must look at a person's sexual history to be able to fully identify that person's sexuality. In the case of porn stars, they're acting, and its their job. Henceforth, are they gay or straight, or simply gay for pay? Well it doesn't really matter. Some of them know how to do their job

I'm out to my father but he still thinks I'm confused or that it's a phase. He will say those things to make me angry, and get a response from me. I don't understand how he can be so understanding of certain topics yet so close minded about others. Not only that, but he's a homophobe. He has said really nasty things... he thinks we're sexual deviants who just lust every men we see. However, I feel it's just his reaction and to a certain extent, a state of denial. We always argue, lol.

Yeah, my family and I have a don't ask don't tell understanding of things right now. It fucking blows sometimes, but it keeps our relationship otherwise good.
That's why I don't want to come out to him, he is homophobic and has some preconceived ideas that he will never change.

My dad was a little bad up until a few years before I came out, I think he might have figured out possibilities about me that caused this change. But also he changed careers from factory work to caring work and maybe this changed things. Not generalising to people with these jobs.

I'm really grateful for my experience with my family, i actually came out with my mom when i was 8, we used to watch TV all the time and then a gay character came out and i said "mom i'm like him, i like boys and i've always liked them", she looked at me and said "it's too soon, i have no problem with it but i want you to tell me when you're 15" and i did, i was 15, again, watching TV with her and the exact same episode came out, it was a rerun. She looked at me with a smile and i thought that was her way to tell me that she was still fine with it, i said "mom, i still am" and we hugged, that was it, the next day i told my father and sister and they were great too. So, yeah i wanted to share my experience hahaha. Sometimes it's easier than you think guys, i know i was lucky but they may surprise you (my dad totally did surprise me with his reaction)

When an openly gay guy was elected for a president of a city (Słupsk) in recent local elections (which, by the way, is a huge thing - Poland is still a pretty conservative country and no one expected him to win) there were a lot of comments that male citizens of Słupsk should now walk with their asses sticked to walls ("because otherwise they might get raped by the president, duhr"). :|
The worst is when they start to act gay-ish for fun (grabbing their asses or nipples, hugging, sweet talking etc.) and you know it is just for play.

Jock personalities are the best, that's practically the entire reason I like them. But maybe not in high school or through most of one's twenties, I think as is the case with everyone, some life experience and growing up some is to their benefit.
I like them because they're like the opposite of me. I'm always stuck in my head and they're usually really unpretentious and tuned in to the world around them. It's refreshing.
