yeah those things are really boring

i never understood why people think it's entertaining to watch someone else play a game

I can't get into it either (and I even STREAM, but that's because I like talking to strangers). I don't mind doing it, just not watching it
heyo?
I found one Let's Play series from a GAFfer (who I meant to message and can't remember their name :( ) where they play games while their mother watches, who is totally inappropriate.

Also feeling sick this evening. Started getting a sore throat at work. Then while waiting for the bus, I've been shivering and feeling upset since. I should probably go to bed early instead of play Resident Evil :\ In better news, I got a new role/promotion at work today!

Top of page!? AAAH I'm so nervous.

I drove 45mins in the pouring rain to go meet this guy who I hit it off with last week. Wait 10 mins outside in the rain and get no respone from him. So I go back to my car and leave.

Then he gets a hold of me saying he missed his bus cause he went swimming. But if that's the case at least text me? Also why go do something else when you have plans and someone is in their way?

So I called him on his bullshit and went home. Unreal what crap people pull.

Yeah, like, if I'm going to sit down to watch something, it's gonna be a movie or a TV show.

Also feeling sick this evening. Started getting a sore throat at work. Then while waiting for the bus, I've been shivering and feeling upset since.

Yeah, I saw some posters around Seattle saying something was going around, so I think it caught up with me again (I was sick over the holidays too)

oooh, which Resident Evil?

The new HD remake. I only played it when it originally came out for about an hour, so it's exciting to play it with a fresh mind.

:O Congrats!

Thank you! :)

It's to see an extensive, unedited look at the game. Trailers only show what the devs want you to see and silent playthroughs (while still a valid alternative) don't give a strong impression of how the controls actually pan out. Provided you're not watching someone who isn't piss at commentary (unfortunately due to sturgeon's law and Youtube's largely user generated content, this is the exception) it can either be illuminating or sadistically amusing.

I've been a little nervous this whole week, and will be till monday about work. I'm still new, and all the people above me have been out all week. Happy that it's Friday, but nervious about coming in Monday and being told I fucked everything up..

They don't really have a right to be angry with you if you've only been in there for like a month.

So I called him on his bullshit and went home. Unreal what crap people pull.

Absolutely cannot stand people who lie to save face. I can tolerate an honest asshole, but someone who can't be truthful because of disapproval gets no respect from me. It hurts much worse to get ditched than it does to be told "No".

I'm not really into Let's Play vids either. I have enjoyed a few from stuff like Achievement Hunter but I don't ever look for any on my own.

I find it kind of strange that 13-18 year olds find YouTube stars more relevant than A-list stars. To me, YouTube stars come off as mostly amateurs, low-budget, and bite-sized, and those things combine for what feels like a waste of time. It's like Reality TV that didn't even have to go through an audition sometimes.

There's a nice percentage that come off as really talented or professional and I can indulge in that occasionally, but overall, YouTube stars are nowhere near beating the professionals on broadcast TV or movies for me.

Maybe the kids are too young for HBO and Daniel Day Lewis types of things. Or maybe I'm too old for YouTube.

Couldn't find an opportunity to talk to the guy. There's next week at least, and I switched to an adjacent seat so I had more chances to talk with him. Dude's kinda glued to his phone during the class break though.

In terms of Time Investment:Reward ratio that's perfectly reasonable. I think seeing the game directly for yourself does give a more complete picture though. Often text impressions are going to emphasize a game's best and worst points, since those obviously merit the most attention and effort. That has the drawback of making smaller or less noticeable things the game does well or messes up on kind of fall to the wayside (even if for you in particular these could be deal-breakers), and "intangible" elements not directly connected to core game mechanics, such as pacing and the successful application of atmosphere, are lost because they're by far the most heavily subjective parts of a game, and what works for one person could easily unsalvageable for another, and the "how" may not be particularly apparent unless you can see it for yourself.

When I was younger and App stores had blown up recently, I read an article that said phones will never excite you as much as a stranger approaching you in person to compliment or be curious or make friends with you, so keep your phone in your pocket as much as possible.

It talked about even just waiting in line, so long as it is a reasonably short amount of time and you don't have something important to do, keep the phone away and look present. That way you never repel the chance for you or someone who wants to talk to you to approach. Especially around people you know and are supposed to be spending time with. Texts can wait for a check periodically, rather than being a constantly watched happening on a screen when in public. Games to kill time certainly aren't depicting you in a better light.

So I guess the advice clicked with me and I have no friends so it isn't like I'm missing texts anyway. Please new friend, come find me and say hello.

I'd generally rather meditate than look at my phone. Dzogchen or Mahamudra integrate pretty seamlessly into your life and no one really knows what you're doing.

It's been brutal in the city this year. I think literally everyone I know has been out sick at one point or another in the past two months; can't believe I've gotten away clean so far, even with smooching a sick boyfriend and working 40 hours a week in close quarters with germy people. Woke up yesterday morning with an ear ache and a scratchy throat, but it's completely fine today. Go figure.

Hi. :)

I never even had a cellphone until just a few months ago, so it still feels odd to me to think to check it all the time while I'm out. It usually just sits in my pocket, or I'll leave it at home still sometimes.

Though I had some lengthy text sessions over the past week and they've been lovely. Really brought my spirits up. <3

I understand the premise of Youtube stars and such perfectly, especially growing up with a brother 10 years younger than me. Not my thing though. I hate people talking over games, especially when the game has some really nice music playing on it.

As for my mobile, I'm not a crazy phone checker. I wear a watch to tell the time and my phone is more often than not, a music player than a phone. If I'm in company, phone never comes out and I usually leave calls to voicemail. If I'm not, out comes the 3DS.

I personally refrain from using my phone in public (besides as a music player when there's no one of interest nearby) for exactly that reason.

It's so good to be back at home.

What is "home"

I like lets plays depending on the game. If it's a game I've already played I like to see reactions to certain parts and what not. As for youtube stars I dont really follow the main ones most people do just unknows or lesser known one.. I guess the Yogscast are the biggest ones I follow.

Thank you!

Nothing infuriates me more than when you talk to someone, or are planning to, and they are glued to their phone. Either texting, browsing facebook or calling someone/answering a call (which is fine, but sometimes you really don't need to call someone, or drag on a call that doesn't seem important at all and takes 15 minutes to end).

So when you're talking to a new guy, ether throught a dating site or in person, when is the acceptable time to get all sexy talk and such? I get really uncomfortable when it's all a guy talks about. When is it ok to cross that line for you?

I'm very open about sex and talking about sex, and I appreciate anyone who is as open about discussing such private matters as I am.

But sexy talk, as in '' i wanna suck your balls dry '' and really meaning it, that I don't really find comfortable until a significant amount of communication with said companion. But I've never had this problem, because I choose the right people to talk to.

I don't know if I'd ever be comfortable with "I want to suck your balls dry" kind of talk. I can't imagine myself saying it. I seriously don't go past PG-13 language. Bad or dirty words at a minimum here for no particular reason (my family uses plenty of cursing so I'm not sure where it comes from). I think maybe 'fuck' in various forms is like the most detail and dirty I would talk and it would only be when it's happening basically, as I don't say it in normal conversation. The rest would be said plainly. At least, this is all based on how I feel thinking about it right now.

Images that describe my wild side:
And stickers on your car are a dealbreaker sometimes.
I'm a little plain in some ways.

Urgh some disgusting dillweed left his chewed gum on the drinking fountain at the gym. WTF how does drinking fountain = spit-bucket for your gross ass garbage and filth from your mouth? People's faces and mouths are like literally an inch away from that mess when drinking, with water and moisture easily bouncing off it.

Depends on the guy, vibe, mood, and chemistry. Sometimes, I need some rapport with the dude, but other times, no so much.

I think my example of sexy talk was a rather vile one. Sexy talk can also be '' dam you hot, I wanna kiss you and touch you and... '' though I would feel extremely embarrassed if such talk would occur, mostly because my low self-esteem. But if someone actually went the route of '' i want to wiggle my tongue in your rosebud '' then I would find it extremely entertaining and I would welcome it because I find it funny.

For those looking to loose some weight quick quick tip:

I drink one gallon of water every night it makes me pee more sure but it flushes you out

Sorry for the huge post, you gays post a lot and I can barely keep up!

Anyone who says cuddling is shit gets a big hug from me to dissuade them from such a silly opinion.
Oh, uh, cuddling is shit.
All according to keikaku.

That thread has me thinking..

My partner and I are both pretty trim, but we like to shower together and then pig-out on junk food afterwards. It usually goes like this:

{*super-naughty fun time is over*}
"I'll heat the oven - you start the hot water in the shower!"
"Ok! Mozzarella sticks please.. or do I want toasted ravioli?"
"Why not both?!"

We gave this pattern a code name in college: the Digiorno Protocol.
You are my hero. Teach me your secrets.

I can't afford to go to school this semester so I'm stuck at home.
Thought I would be able to go but nope. :(
That's awful. I really hope you can find some way to make it work.

Ok I couldn't open this page on my iPad for some reason gais, I don't get it...
Turn off YouTube embed on mobile GAF. The page with a list of gay media had so many YouTube links trying to get embdded that it stuck Safari on my iPhone in a loop of crashing the tab and reloading it.

Yasss.

Messenger bags are awesome. Just a random update that I got one and love it.
Nice! May I ask what you got?

Yiss! Drinking buddy!

Urgh, feeling a need to scratch my back after seeing that gif.

Why you gotta hate on canines like that. :/ Gosh.

So no Kenket for you, huh?
His loss.

I thought your post said "Maximum Thrust" at a quick glance.

Oh yes, that was the cut fourth suit power from Crysis.

Real pic January winner right here.

I just think that '' oh you are such a trooper and you deserve all my hugs and kisses '' and in general I find perfect skin to be really intimidating. Mostly because I've battled with acne-like symptoms for quite awhile now, so I can't help but feel for anyone who has acne scars.

Flawless skin freaks me out.

I know. I've always battled with acne. I can't really say I'm intimidated by "perfect" looking skin, I'm actually somewhat jealous, lol. I get terrible acne breakouts from time to time. Hence I don't really mind guys with acne.

Squeezing your boyfriends zits... how romantic would that be?!

I just like a face that has texture and skin imperfections. Facial hair, scars, acne scars, blemishes, freckles, I love em. Well, as long as u have an otherwise nice face otherwise to support it, because really, I'm all about that face (structure)!

Sure I'm jealous over perfect looking skin as well, and I want perfect skin, but on others, nope.

Well, at least hate those who flaunt their precious flawless skin! Other people, I can deal with.

Anything can be romantic, and frankly I wouldn't mind. If he wants me to then I guess, sure why not. So why do you want perfect looking skin on yourself but not others? O:
Sounds a bit selfish.

I think you are taking me a biiiiiit too seriously. I don't mind not-perfect skin on others, but I do mind it in me. And like I said, I find things like acne scars and skin imperfections pretty cute and attractive on a guy. And I would welcome any man to my life who had such imperfections.

But right now I'm just pissed with anyone who has great skin. Stop flaunting your superior lifestyle and genes and hormones that are under control, think of meeeeeee and how I feeeel.

It was time to retire Hipster Light Blue Yoshi :) Welcome Hipster Bowser Jr with no Instagram filter :p

I hate acne, it spoils my already not so good face. At least it is not that bad and only happens when I'm very stressed (most of the time lol). I don't mind guys with it, because it can be fixed, unless is very bad acne D:
