Seems legit >.>

That's actually how I had ended up in this thread in the first place - someone (Masque I believe) had used one of the images from my website here (which is perfectly fine, of course. Anyone is free to do so), and so it turned up on a search of my username here.

Don't lie, you wanted to sue him :P

Preaching to the choir there; I use abload all of the time. Not that great for making an album to store images in, though.

Free cloud storage? Yeah, I know, account needed, but on the bright side you probably have one. I think google drive should support viewing gifs from the browser. Heck, it supports raw files :P

:/

at least he fills out one side of those undies

And it's over. He wanted me to spend the night. I needed some breathing space. Told him I'd see him in the morning, he never responded. Said morning to him today and he didn't respond. I'm confused and numb.
Sorry. Maybe you can rinse and repeat on a site more open to lasting connections.

By the way, that image that you host, the Aliens guy meme? I believe the grammar is really screwed up. Wouldn't it be "I'm not saying it were Aliens - but it were Aliens" and not "I'm not saying it was Aliens - but it was Aliens"?

Or is it me who fails at grasping the English language here?

In this case, you base it off of "it", not what follows. "It" is singular, referring to a singular event that you are blaming the aliens for. "It was they who did it," and so forth.

Now, the aliens were behind it. But it was done by them.

Now I embarrassed myself. Making stupid posts like that. Urgh

I blame it on my lack of sleep. My brain can't work on 3 hours of sleep. -.-

Edit: At least I learn something from my mistake now.

Yep. "Was/were" are linking verbs, and you base those off of the noun. "It" would be the noun in that case, and "aliens" would be... the predicate? ...Okay, it's been too long since I've been in school. They're just not the noun you base the verb off of since "aliens" comes after! ...Though even that's not always the rule, depending on how you structure the sentence... English is silly like that.

Think you just got it confused and thought "it" was referring to the aliens, but in that case "it" would be grammatically incorrect - it should be "they" instead.

Hey, there's nothing to be embarrassed at all about asking a question. Learning is a good thing, and we shouldn't be afraid to make mistakes in the process. Goodness knows I've made more than my share of mistakes
in many aspects of life >.>

Yeah, the "it" refers to whatever was being talked about.
Me winning the lottery
The crop circle in the field
The DS being the best system of last generation
The abducted cow
etc.

It was (caused by/as a result of) aliens!

In it for the Uggs

i didn't even notice those

Native English speakers don't know shit. Grammar education is awful in this country.

Language and spelling were the only school subjects I was any good at. The terminology has mostly left me by this point, however. Probably because I never diagrammed anything; screw diagramming.

My first sentence above is: "Noun, conjunction, noun, linking verb, ...determiner?, ...adverb?, adjective, predicate, pronoun, verb, adverb, adjective, ...preposition?" Gah.

They're not mistakes if you learn from them.

Looks great to me. From both sides.

I'll be the first signature.

We shall begin writing this petition to developers asap!

Thanks for clearing that up for me. =)

I guess that is also true. Embarrassment is probably the wrong reaction to the mistake I made since I should know that it's completely normal to fail at things sometimes.

Your English is better than many native speakers. Like Haly said, grammar education in America is appalling.

I can confirm this.

They should have given me an Elementary teaching job when I finished my Master's in 2009 >.>
You Know Terrisus, for as long as I've known you. Why didn't you get a teaching job. Were there not any where you lived? Just curious because you seem like you'd make a great teacher and you're darn well qualified for it.

The English language is stupid. I have no clue as to how it works. I just... Spout words, and hope for the best. The only real reason and motivation for me to break it down and understand it would be to pursue a career with it.

Also, my avatar is now so colourless, so... Cold. :c

But isn't it bad if I have to measure myself against the worst of [...] in something
