Played the demo and enjoyed it so then I bought LNM1 on sale on psn for 4 bucks. Really enjoyed it but 2 seems the same as the first one. Will wait for price drop and next gen version

And they made him a Lord of Cinder. Not for virtue, but for might. Such is a lord, I suppose. But here I ask. Do we have a sodding chance?
is it already out on ps5?

is the demo different content than is in the release game? Because I'd just as soon wait for it to ship at the end of the week. But if it's extra content...hell yeah!

looking forward to playing it despite the feeling the previous game is derivative and not quite as good as limbo/inside. I do like that they take less of a “mystery box” approach to the narrative than limbo but playdead already showed how you don’t really need it with inside. I feel like many of the elements “open to interpretation” are just bad watered down horror tropes and what’s left is how well they set the mood and this series is not quite as good at that. Still, not many games are in this sub genre and the previous game was good if you don’t compare

Pre-ordered the TV edition, will play it on my Xbox One X. Enjoyed the first game, thought it was a solid 8/10.

I can't wait to get my hands on this. Had the original on my Steam account since launch and decided to play it over Christmas not expecting much. I adored every second of it, such a freaky game with fantastic twists throughout.

If you havent played the previous game I’d recommend it although I’d recommend playing Inside first if you haven’t (is inside still on Xbox game pass?)
I have played the first little nightmare and loved it,havnt tried inside it’s not on game pass tho.

Play the DLC if you haven't already.

I would buy it day one if it was 4k 60fps in ps5, but after playing the demo (2k 30fps) I will wait for a future update I hope it will be soon.

Fuck this game is more creepier than RE7,.... jeeesssuuusss . The sound design and the atmosphere is top notch, and playing this without a headphone is not a good idea. Combat... is a bit iffy but satisfying.

What you got, my 960 runs it just fine and that's as old as the hills.
Aye, I got it to run just fine lol I remember the first game not running properly on my old PC for whatever reason, so I figured I'd have some trouble running this one as well, but it plays quite well.

I'm around 1 hour in and it's pretty similar to the previous title so far, which is never a bad thing. I love these kind of cinematic platformers, they can be quite unsettling at times!

Look I loved the first one and I wish the developers all the best, but here's the thing if the game is the same as the first both in length and replay value (which is not a lot) I think 25 quid on the PS4 is a bit much, I'm gonna sleep on this one for now.

The demo wasn't very exciting. Same old move a crate to use it as a platform to reach higher ground, throw an object to activate a switch/trap, move away from the enemy sight/light source range, etc. Felt like i played it a thousand times before.

This is the issue with most games that use platforming puzzles. They are too easy and most of them treat you like it's the first one you play.

Reading this thread I have the feeling I missed out a good game. Will check out the first one when the price is adequate. Thanks.

Absolutely. Its a superb little game.

Can be had for under €4. Greenmangaming is safe, but GOG is in the same range if you want to buy from a better known source. DLC isn't included but it's not as good as the base game.

Bandai Namco gave it away free a few weeks ago btw.

About 3 hours into the game and all I can say is that I'm loving it. The addition to some form of combat is very welcome and the teamwork between the two characters is also pretty cool.

I kinda hope that the DLC answers some questions, and or a third game takes place to close out the storyline. Maybe some extra comic issues the explain the origin of the world. It is really neat. The first game felt like an experiment, this feels like a really fleshed out tense horror game. It's interesting that it does things better than The Medium set out to do, and also it kills it in the sound design and creepyness factor. It does so many things that make my spine chill compared to the ultra gory Resident Evil series that I am in awe.

Just beat the game. Wow!

Really the same core concept as part one but so much more refined.

5 chapters, each with a different threat and a new key mechanic to rely on, keeping it fresh all the way 'till the end.

Some rudimentary combat, didn't see that one coming. So cool.

Insane sound design. I love the art direction, the look of the game.

Shame that they didn't invest more into bringing the animation tech to the same level.
All kinds of clipping, bad collision, characters glitching around especially when using the unfortunately pointless, unless you're going for the achievement, holding hands mechanic.
Without those issues, it would be just perfect.

But it's all forgiven, everything comes together as a pretty great package.

"Story" not really connected to the first game in a way that would explain anything, quite on the contrary.
I'm sure there are plenty of "analysis videos" coming but honestly, it's an abstract, grim fairy tale and it doesn't really have to make much sense for anyone to enjoy the ride.
I liked the ending of Little Nightmares way more but overall the whole trip was much better and more focused this time around.

An easy recommendation for anyone who liked the first one, games PLAYDEAD makes and similar.

Combat is completely shit. Your attacks are slow and controls are janky and you are attacked by fast, nimble things.

I'm at the part in the hospital where you are attacked by waves of those "hands" and after 30 tries i just stopped playing. You just have to hope your attacks land where you want them and you have to do it correctly several times in a row. Which requires luck and a lot of patience re-doing it again and again, two things i don't have.

I found that fleeing and spinning around whacking them worked best. Was on my last attempt though, maybe I got lucky. Definitely frustrating.

This game has the best "turn your flashlight on the enemy to make it stop" gameplay. That I know of.

They stop to aim just before they launch towards you, move a little to the side as they jump, then you can run towards them and smash them.

Think I'm near enough to completing it. I'm pretty disappointed to be honest, far, far to much of a trial & error element to the game. As had the original but nowhere near on the scale of this. It overshadowed any positives for me.

Disappointed.
