Losing Weight and Excersizing #2813129381

I have been doing some light excersizing in the last 2 months and i've noticed that my upper body is finally taking shape. But my stomach, hip, and thighs are pratically the same as before, which i consider as huge! So can anyone recommend a good way to slim down my stomach, hip and thighs? im only willin to put in a 1hr max. i currently weight close to 200lbs, 5'7", and im a waist size of 36". im not really fat, i have more like a "square" body. i'll really appreciate the help and recommendations.

Simply put, you can't lose fat in specific areas. Now because you're waist is a 36", it doesn't matter how many situps you do because there will always be fat on top of it. (you still may strengthen them)

The solution is to lose fat.

Do cardio, and eat healthy. See above threads for specifics.

Abs are made in the kitchen.


Btw, losing fat at your size should be easy. But don't work too hard, like jogging. Do elliptical machines or walk for almost an hour 3-5 times a week. Adjust your diet. You should be able to lose weight very quickly.

I'm 5' 9" and 139 lbs with I'd say about 10% body fat. You're probably 30-50% body fat depending on the muscles. I'd highly recommend losing teh fat.

ah oh ok thanks. it just i want to get rid this stomach fat and u know after trying for the last 2 months, it all still looks the same. probably im doin something wrong but i'll look in those other thread for some tips or other helpful stuff.
 
Don't expect to be ripped and go to the beach by the end of next month. There's a lot of weight loss thread here all of a sudden and I'd just like to remind people that losing fat takes time, even if you do everything perfect. If you have a gut, you're not going to be ripped or anything near there by summer's end. You should be for next summer though.

and yeah im not really lookin to be ripped by summer, i just want to slim down to 160-170lbs. so thanks for the tips.
