Fun episode, shockingly the last match was the most disappointing. Just too sloppy.

Who is Dragon Azteca? Anyone noteworthy?

I think there is too much Johnny Mundo. He's not that great a wrestler, certainly not nearly as acrobatic as most the other wrestlers in LU. That match vs Killshot showed how outclassed he was physically.

And he just doesn't make a convincing heel, either. Not like Cage or any of the bigger, more imposing wrestlers.

Is this a joke?

if i remember correctly WWE is very interested in Ricochet, and very looking for ways to access him earlier?
But he's all about that Indy flippy shit Vince and co. dislike.

Seriously, I wouldn't be surprised if wwe would try to sign everyone just to have LU go under.

I said hot damn at that mid air stunner. Some amazing matches tonight. Loved the booking of the main event. Why can't WWE book a match where two guys legit hate each other but work together to fight off a common enemy?

Because even when a show is good like this, no one tunes in to watch it. It's a monopoly, they don't have to change shit.

Another great episode. It's a damn shame that 2 matches can be better than an entire 3 hours of Raw. I wasn't really that much into the Prince Puma/Pentegon Jr tag match. But when those two have their eventual match..... whoooo!

I not surprise if WWE would acquire talent from LU. Look at Angelico, WWE would like to have a "Jeff Hardy" in their roster and he fits that. Some maybe willing to do crazy stunts what Jeff did.

Isn't that what they have guys like Neville for?

The main event felt like an angle, but you got more match out of that angle than you usually do elsewhere. They told the story of Pentagon and Puma working together even though they hate each other effectively. I also liked that the Disciples of Death were more than just fodder for those two to fight through. They felt like an actual threat, as they should be being Trios champs.

Looking forward to seeing new faces next week.

I like Neville, they might acquire more talent like him. I personally don't want to see any LU switching over.

How does talent's contract work in LU? Since the shows are taped in advance, can they work for another promotion while LU is still in the air or have to wait for that season to end?

Good episode. Only thing that bothered me a little was PJ Black in the video package saying "I don't do this for money, fame or recognition" but then being all over the crowd in his entrance.

Tapings are done way before TV only stuff. Couldn't help that great reaction specially when 1)it's a surprise he's there 2)Dude comes out behind the fans.

The nickname Darewolf is terrible but it's nice to see PJ again. Is he running with that name on the indies too or did someone finally make a bad creative decision at the Lucha Underground offices?

I can't wait for Puma v Pentagon Jr (hopefully we'll get this sooner than later), as well as the new debuts next episode.

Does Rey still have the knees to be as good in the ring as the last time I saw him regularly (aka a few years ago in WWE)? I hope so...

There's a reason WWE kept telling him no when he pitched the Darewolf, and it wasn't that they didn't care about ideas other than their own, PJ.

Aiii

So not worth it
Darewolf just doesn't make any sense. It doesn't sound right, it doesn't roll of the tongue all that well, it doesn't really chant well either (naming 101, pick something people can chant, I'm looking at you, Michael McGillicutty). It's just shit all around.

Avoid wiki if you don't want spoilers. Read a pretty big one reading up on one of the talents.

Didn't one if the writers say WWE tried to sign all their talent when LU started up?

Good show, I enjoyed that. A good start to the season so far and i'm really looking forward to the rest.
I read an interview with Rey recently where he said there's some moves he can't do because of his knee but that he can compensate for that. I'm curious as to how it goes.
