Yeah this episode of Hunter X Hunter pretty much confirms that Alluka is also a calamity from the dark continent brought when Netero when there unofficially.
I tolerated it in the first book, but Konoha's insistence on referencing Tohko's flat chest has begun to grate. I also have reservations about all the - for lack of better, concise terms - "anime" elements, especially in written form. The entire existence of Kotobuki is rather cringe-worthy. Also, maid dress with cat ears, really?
In that case, you're really not going to enjoy reading more. Depends entirely on how much that bothers you, I guess, since the jokes about Tohko's chest and Kotobuki's tsundere antics don't necessarily stop.
Personally, Famished Spirit is one of my favorite of the stories (probably third? Hm, I'm not actually sure how I'd rank them) almost entirely due to the destructive behavior of them all. You'll really not get much more out of the other stories if that's an issue since literally all of them are on the basis of very unhealthy relationships in some capacity.
Also, I hate Wuthering Heights as well, though I guess I had an easier time accepting Aoi x Kayano. Why Hotaru loved him that much is just something else you're left to just accept, I suppose; she essentially just fell in love with her idealized image of Aoi and when he appeared as Kurosaki, she accepted him regardless

Reading a lot of Japanese comics, that's something I've learnt to ignore. It's just harder to do in written form as you couldn't just quickly flip the page.
It's about the severity, I guess. From the start, I realize that almost every relationship here is unhealthy. Obsessiveness, masochism, lingering feelings, sociopathy. Those definitely affects yourself and those around you. But Kotobuki killed two people and tortured a child for a long time. When Konoha commented "perhaps he's not a demon after all" just because he looks frail I was "what".
Weird thing is, I'm actually more accepting towards Hotaru's love, mainly because I'm directly exposed to her thoughts and interactions more.
Damn @ that reaction to Kashima's singing improvement LOL
Also i'm liking how everyone eventually got paired off (and in their rightful pairs) during the festival and Nozaki unwittingly placing some moves without realizing.
Just caught up on all of Koe no Katachi thanks to that thread on OT about introducing people to manga based on one page.
Wow. This manga is so good. The Nishimiyas have endured so much, its just unfair at this point I didnt like the mom at first but she really started to grow on me.
One bit I really liked is that in the end of chapter 45
Shoko throws away a toy truck with the push handle.
I didnt know why the author bothered to highlight it but re-reading chapter 42, I noticed its the
same truck she used to get up on the balcony before trying to kill herself.
Looks like Shoko is done with the killing herself biz for good (I hope) and ready to make changes and stand up for herself. I do hope Ishida isnt disabled now as well as the dude deserves a break. He was a shitty little kid but hes suffered enough.
Ueno though. That girl has problems. Shes just a terrible person. Kawai is probably the worst.
God, Karin or whatever her name is, she's so annoying. Kuromarou identifies as a boy, what's the need to have tasteless gags Akamatsu.
New arc at academy city eh. I wonder if we'll see any old lady classmates still lurking around.
Kingdom 396
Obvious outcome is obvious. Now we move to Shin's fight. Shin fighting is cool and all, but I'm still sitting over here waiting for this dude to show us any sort of qualities of a general. Brute force ain't shit when it comes to being a general.
hahaha, yeah, there's that. I kind of forgot some of the ease of acceptance there. I can see what you mean on that front. Well, we'll see how the next book goes I guess.
Let the healing begin! It seems Ueno has even gotten in on some of it as well, I guess the events of last chapter have caused her to become far less violent (or at least more self aware).
Yamada whatever
been in a relationship for months (?) and this is their first date? you even have the perfect flawless gf that's okay with you making out with other chicks, get your shit together Yamada.
I finally caught up to the latest chapter in Inside Mari
Endgame speculation (major spoilers)
Mari is probably suffering from some sort dissociative identity disorder. The protagonist of the story is most likely a split personality, who completely assumed Isao Komori's Persona. Mari was intensely stalking Komori. Consider the following:
1. The letter she sent him (which judging from the content means she's been watching him for a while)
2. The fact she owns his all of his porn mags
3. Her knowledge of things she simply shouldn't know (Komori's house key location, preferred games, etc).
The discrepancy in Komori's memories (he doesn't remember "stalking" her) can easily explained by the fact that she simply transferred her stalking aspect to her "Komori" Persona.
I cannot even begin to describe to how much I like this manga. I hope it ends well!
Glad the spoilers someone posted turned to be vastly misleading, Kuromaru continues to follow along to expectations and Tota is fully behind him. Kuromaru will definitely remain his equal and friend.
I miss the usual look for Tota, school uniform doesnt suit him, but it does for Ikku.
