I think it counts yeah.
Seems too tame for a guro manga, but maybe the moe sister is affecting my judgment.
The manga has a weird structure that the anime is trying to alleviate/"fix".
Personally, I'm enjoying both, but it's definitely going to be a nightmare for anime folk trying to jump in on the manga.

I would suggest just watching the full metal panic fumoffu anime, which is the definitive way to experience full metal panic.

I think something weird is going on because everyone were still loving it up until the 30's, at least, but now people catching up are starting to hate it halfway there.

Anyway, other than that, I hope she survives... but she is a major character, so she will somehow, probably. Maybe they'll arrive just in time. I mean, this series has had a huge body count, but I don't remember even one person dying who we've actually met... it's all been people that are never seen or mentioned by name. Just... nameless people who were killed by what have you.
Anyway, Levy's been my favorite character pretty much since she first appeared, so I hope she makes it... and pulls off something amazing and manages to beat this villain here, too.

Arin is the weird one who insists on calling the MC her husband.
Seems like people either love or hate the recent events. I know I love what's happening but I can how some people can be disappointed.

Yes, it's just a one-shot. He came up with it in 1998, before he started with Naruto. Everyone was kinda excited for it, after Naruto turned to shit and now it turns out that Kishi just sucks at story telling. What a bummer.

The important thing is that the four characters listed are Haruto and Yuzuki, naturally, but also Asuka and Kyosuke, who don't show up until the Tokyo arc about 80 chapters into the series. Since the OVA told the story arc immediately before that one (with flashbacks to fill in the otherwise missing details where needed), does that mean the TV series will pick up where the OVA left off instead of going back to the beginning?

I could see why they would do that, it's simply the most rage inducing part of story. On the other hand, would you rage as much if you don't know the characters that well?
There were the two OVA episodes bundled with two volumes of the manga, but otherwise, as the color page says, the anime starts airing in July.
