A few months ago I had started Pandora Hearts, but then put it on hold because the volumes are released here in print and what not and the art is quite good and worth investing in so I wanted to see it in pure unadulterated quality to not ruin the experience. Memorable start even if things happen fast and the mystery introduced is compelling with the Baskervilles, B-Rabbit, and Xerxes Break and crew. I personally like it most for the Gil Oz moments though.

A story about a girl who starts to act like a delinquent so she can get the attention of the Class Rep she's crushing on. It just so happens the Class Rep's also has a thing for her so they sort out their differences by doing the only logical thing ther is and start fucking eachother in the classroom.

the art leaves much to be desired but w/e

Keep at it. It gets really really really good. OzxGil won't even be your favorite pairing.

Pretty interesting concept. I love these sort of games that abnormally shift around the balance of power between a group of people and test whether the MC (who obviously is the one to care for the good of the group) can control the group to create a good outcome.

I do wish the time between switching were longer. I've read something else with a very similar premise, and having more time for alliances/deception/tension to be created definitely makes things more interesting. I can't wait to see how the rest of the unanswered questions about the game play out.

at the ending of chapter 2 though.

I spent a summer working as an intern in DC. It's probably my favorite city in America. Incredible public transit, awesome people, and tons of cool things to see, many of which are free (Smithsonian Air and Space is my favorite museum)

D.C. is fun and beautiful. I have fond memories of walking the mall. I stayed in their homeless shelter for a week. Biggest shelter in the U.S. Its ghettos are pretty dangerous, though.

0_0 homeless shelter? Hope everything worked out.

I was one of the thousand people interning for a congressman that summer, and was shacked up in Foggy Bottom with 80% of those interns. There are tons of dangerous areas, but it is fairly easy to stay away from them if your traveling by Metro most of the time. Also, there was a lot of stuff going on while I was there- the 2010 World Cup meaning bars were open at crazy hours, there was a multi-day gay pride event happening all over the place, ect.

National Mall is super-pretty though. I think I bought a hot dog and a Vitamin Water from a street vendor and just sat there for an hour, admiring it.

Haha yeah, I was visiting and helping out there with a school program. I did a lot of sprinting between a bunch of monuments for a scavenger hunt, so I got to see a lot of them. Too many...

Avoiding the dangerous areas is easy. It's like, don't go down that street. Pardon my derailing the manga discussion..

A nice action filled chapter. For a sword that wants to taste blood it sure enjoys the taste of clothes. I wonder if Zastin will actually do something next chapter or if he'll arrive just after it's all over.

A collection of short stories about relationships both straight and gay. The highs are enough to make it a worthwhile read. The blandness of Shimura's art works in her favor in that it gives room for the subtext to breathe. Things happen, but they sort of just drift by, and it's up to the reader to try and decide on the internal states of the characters. The more grounded the stories are, the better this style works: the opening story where the women moves in with the guy she meets at a bar, the one with the two twins (one gay, one straight), and the one with the boy living with his cousin who appeared in a porno are the best. They're all about characters going through some sort of difficult change in life that is common enough that the reader can easily empathize, and they don't get in the way of that relationship between the character and the reader with a whole bunch of monologues laying out what everyone is feeling at a specific moment. This style doesn't work in the trashier, more far out story, like the shoplifting brother who's banging his shut-in sister, because Shimura doesn't sell the drama--it just feels like a bunch of incidents being recounted by an indifferent observer.

I bought a used bike from a colleague. A week later a flat tire (Monday). I took it to the shop to get it fixed. It was fixed and i came back Monday after noon. Yesterday i tried to go to my job, and the wheel was fucked. I am livid. I paid money to get it fixed, so i will go today to the shop and ask him what´s up. Because the shop is 6 minutes away from home, and i did not drive my bike on anything.

Spoilers out, and the retcons keep a'rollin on.

Sasuke's back to summoning snakes, as Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke all bust out the expected Summoning jutsu to drive that Neo Sannin parallel home.

Which makes no sense other than "lol nostalgia" since Naruto has a gigantic chakra fox that he can bust out at any given point ever. But hey, at least Sakura can summon Katsuyu.

Sai comes from the sky and says “I’m Team 7 too !” and is shot down.
How long until you can use Kyuubi’s chakra ?
Then Team 7 does Summoning Jutsu !
I think it’s kinda the same page a during the sannin battle !
Even if their overall appearance is different though.
I think Bunta and Katsuyu are the same, maybe …

I am also in the opinion that Sasuke hasn't fully exposed his real intention yet. Got that nagging feeling that he's planning something for when all the dust has been settled.

When the fights over he is going to bust out the "You still can't touch my bandanna" line and him and Naruto are going to fight. But instead of showing the fight the entire manga is just going to end with Him and Naruto charging at each other. Kis be trollin'

I expected this to have a happy ending but it didn't. Instead it had a slightly rushed bad end. Ayaka escaped but no one else did, not even Hiro. They didn't expand on why time didn't pass at the school at all. Overall this was alright but it could have been better. 6.5/10

Naruto is just horrible... Horrible.
Also, I hate how Bleach and Naruto have the same pacing and story almost, so I can't just skip to the other.
At least I still have Yotsubato!
