This is from Strike Witches 1937.
Of course shorts, etc. also would work fine with those things, so there never WAS any excuse for the underwear as outerwear except "well we want girls in only pantsu", but this one breaks down that excuse even more than stuff like the girls with pantyhose did... not that the creators care. It's not like this franchise ever cared even the slightest bit for any kind of accuracy anyway. I just thought that it was kind of funny that it did this here in this official manga, after all of those excuses for the silly costumes they came up with early on in the anime... Strike Witches was decent, but outfits like this one would not have been bad either.

Yankee-kun's absolute best arc is the ouendan arc. I mean, it's dragging before that, but it goes into this weird mode where the friend group is being competitive, and all these background characters get more characterisation, and it's still a fight but it's not actually a fight so it doesn't follow the traditional shonen mode... it's just fucking fantastic all around.
And then boom goes back to mehdom for another bajillion volumes.

Usually the "love drug" is used on someone as some kinda date rape thing to get that person to fall in love with the protagonist so it was interesting to that twisted around for once. Good stuff.

Sabu and Ichi Volume 1-3
This is an episodic samurai era detective manga by Shotaro Ishinomori. It kind of reminds me of Yoshihiro Tatsumi's work with a similar sort of structure and tone. It's a little hit and miss so far, but when it is good it is really good. This manga does amazing stuff when he decides to get creative.

I mean, I knew Nisekoi would be licensed eventually and its something that Ill buy, but thats all they would license. Not even Silver Spoon from manga superstar Hirmou Arakawa? They are still releasing Detective Conan for Jimmy Kudo's sake.
DW is a boring, poorly written, poorly plotted, bad series that I've kept on reading for some reason. Don't get yourself caught in its trap. Just saw no to DW.

They're interchangeable. Anime seems to do a better job presenting the narrative though. It's going to be years before it gets anywhere though.
Same for the manga too really, but it's 5 seasons ahead of where the anime is if they keep to their current pacing.

I'm warming up to this more and more now that Staz's brother has been fully introduced as it helps explain why Staz is the way he is (also liz is moe as fuck.) The nerdy references he likes to drop are actually funny and serve a genuine point by driving home his incredibly eccentric personality, which really shines in some of these action scenes. Now, if only Fuyumi was given some kinda power up and an actual purpose over than some hang about prize. :/

- Diamante gave Bellamy Doflamingo's orders that assassinate Luffy and he can be a cadre of Donquixote Family if he succeed.
- Bartolomeo talked to Cavendish. Cavendish said Luffy is his prey.

Fight with Miroku has been one of the best parts of the manga. The dialogue was a bit basic and kind of lacking but his personality and just the whole attacks and Sephiroth tree of sorts made up for it extensively. I do wish it didnt end on such a cliffhanger with answers regarding the Miroku origin story finally about to be given.

So. I haven't read Bleach in years. I stopped paying attention sometime around the time Aizen was starting to look weird. But recently I was at the bookstore, and I saw a copy of Bleach 57 displayed with the new books. I was flipping through it, and I decided I'd just catch up from there.

I think the artists really knows how to make some really unique and good characters in abundance in this series. Gara is definitely one of the best ones in this series and then the antagonist(unnamed as well). Blushing is a slightly nice touch on top of it two when they get into the scene of him moving Chiwa out the way to avoid the attack by the beast. Looking forward to the secret the the commissioner lady and everyone is keeping from Chiwa about the Raven's and Jokers.

I could only show part of my library, because I still haven't purchased new shelves. When I have time I'll snap a pic.
I make a big purchase at the start of each month, buying what was released the previous month (so I can save on shipping costs), plus some odd purchases for English published stuff, which is often, but not always, on preorder months in advance.
I thought Dynit dropped Yotsuba&? Actually I remember reading that recently they said they're leaving the whole manga sector to concentrate on anime and other stuff? Or am I remembering it wrong?

So HEY DUDES I started watching attack on titan last night and I am pretty into it. Unfortunately before I gave a crap about it I was reading what people would say from time to time in here and know about the whole identity of the armored titan and all that, WHOOPS. But here's the question: is there any reason to think this anime could possibly adapt the whole manga? That is to say, is the manga gonna end some time soon or something? Or are we looking at yet another anime that just adapts until the manga runs out then comes up with its own bullshit ending? Cause if it's that, I'll just watch the episodes that are out now and then move straight into the manga. Maybe.
Doesn't seem like it'll end soon. Maybe there will be another season (or several other seasons)... But tbh you should just read the manga.
