Outcast I feel like you and I have the same opinion week in week out. It's like every time I finish watching RAW each week I have to ask myself what the hell I'm doing. I don't know if I just expect to much... analyze matches and storyline or simply miss the old days and the attitude era.
A huge problem is that the "core" fans who enjoy good matches and good talent that complain how shitty the show is every week will continue to watch every single week.... hoping for that one good match. I wish there was a way to organize everyone who felt that WWE has been going down the shiiter for a while to simply not watch for a couple months and see how hard it hit the ratings. I have a feeling woudn't really be much but you guys may know more about the fan demographic than I do.
.The buyrate for the WWE Royal Rumble PPV on January 25, which is usually an early indication of how the number for WrestleMania will be, came in this week with 446,000 buys worldwide with 268,000 coming domestically in North America reports The Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Although final numbers always have the shot of increasing by 10%, they are still down 22% worldwide and 29% in North America from last year's numbers that were 575,000 worldwide and a final figure of 379,000 in North America.

I don't analyze the matches. I just want decent matches along with the stuff surrounding it that doesn't make me want to shake my head. Right now, I can't seem to get either on a consistant basis.
Monday's last segment with Orton and HHH was one of those times where I just had to shake my head. It's retarded booking. It's insulting to the audience, and if I were there live I'd be a little irritated. Pay $50 for a ticket to watch 15-20 mins of bad acting on a video screen.

While in Stamford I am doing a LONG interview on the rise and fall of WCW. Man, am I ready for this one!
i have that shirt thank you very much.Liu Kang Baking A Pie said:What kind of person would actually buy that shirt? Not a single person would ever think it was anything other than two dudes fucking.
It's like putting the Warrior/Hogan test of strength gif on a shirt and saying "dudes they're wrestling."

Former WWE star found dead in apartment
We don't have details, but there are multiple reports that Andrew "Test" Martin passed away earlier today at his condo in Tampa.
Martin was four days shy of his 34th birthday.
Police in Tampa confirmed a death in the condo but wouldn't identify the name, but numerous sources within wrestling have confirmed it was him. No details as to the death were reported.
Martin last wrestled with WWE in February, 2007, when he was released after failing a drug test. He worked a few weeks with TNA but the company decided against hiring him. He had of late worked some tours for Nu Wrestling Evolution, and most recently had worked in Japan on shows promoted by Leon "Vader" White.

God i miss him
Spider Silva said:Wow, RIP Test.
He died young, but I'm guessing he lived a decent life. Keep in mind, he banged Kelly Kelly AND Stacy Kiebler over his lifetime.
Is that the actual cause of death?Forkball said:I had no idea Test was so young. So he was only 23 or so when he debuted in the WWE. It's always sad to see someone lose their life to drugs or alcohol.
:lol"Scott Hall was run over after the PPV. He was outside a bar and fell down. Wes Benton, a WCW employee, didn't see him behind him and backed out, and heard a scream. Benton stopped the car, which was on top of Hall's ankle. He realized and moved the car off the ankle. It was nothing serious." - The Wrestling Observer Newsletter: March 01, 1999
"The show began with Disco, Jericho and Johnny Swinger wearing sombreros and making racial remarks. Problem was the crowd was 70% Anglo. They started stomping the sombreros and calling the crowd wetbacks, and it went downhill from there. Silver King, who was doing a cowboy gimmick, had been learning rope tricks and apparently trying them in the ring, somehow wound up by accident nearly tying himself up with his own rope" - The Wrestling Observer Newsletter: February 08, 1999.
"In a spot that aired twice on the show, they aired a promo for Nitro that had never aired before, (featuring) Sean Waltman who hasn't been with the company for a year" - The Wrestling Observer Newsletter: March 22, 1999
