Holy jeez. Just got it. This is the most lovingly crafted Nintendo title since Super Mario Galaxy. Everything, everything about its design has something about it that delights me as a player. Especially the humorous bits like the strobe light piranha plant at the end of Electrodome, and the course surprises that involve showing you something awesome, and then letting you drive on it. Each course feels like a story, a tribute to one specific theme, e.g. clouds, mountains, nightclub dance culture (seriously I never thought I'd see a mario nightclub), Donkey Kong Country, etc. Mount Wario takes you through just about every type of mountain, and ends with one of the greatest landscape reveals I've ever seen in a game.

You can tell they put everything into this game. I kind of feel like I purchased Nintendo pornography.

Holy smokes I've been playing this like crazy today! You guys are so aggressive! It's so scary being in anything but first. People claw at each other while 1st player sails to freedom.

I don't know what it's like single player but I think this is the multiplayer Mario Kart I've been waiting for! The good items are soooo hard to come by. There is much more racing skill involved than dumb luck with like 1000 blue shells flying around.

Being able to hold on to only one item gives you decent chance to catch up as well. I think the addition of the coin is really good actually. You can't keep a constant shell shield up.

Wish I didn't play the demo. I had no idea it was most of the tracks from the first few cups! The element of surprise was gone.
