The voice broski.
ok got it, wasn't sure if it was anything else
I have a bunch of friends I'd enjoy playing with, but our character levels are never close enough to do so. I wish there was a system in place where we could choose to scale down our stats / levels to play with lower level characters. That way high level characters wouldn't completely overpower all the enemies + it'd be nice if it made the enemies green to them so they could actually get exp and drops.
What do people use for Scarlet Witch's primary damage source? I find just using the teleport all over the place is great for mobs, but she really struggles to put the damage down on bosses.

Apparently his animations are a bit different too. I'll try to find it for a bit, I think I saw it on reddit.
Edit: New animations seemed to be new review related and not because of the new costume. My mistake.
Rocket and Star-Lord have had a great week or testing and iteration based on feedback. They will likely have several bugs to deal with and improvements based on data and feedback collected over the weekend. Well be playing both of these guys over the weekend (hopefully twerking free) and we hope you guys enjoy them. The fun factor is high with both of these guys.
Quick note on SW:
We know that Star-Lord's Ultimate Power is like Wanda's Ultimate on steroids and we think that Star-Lord's pretty awesome.
So, I want to say that we have plans to make Wanda's Ultimate also more powerful / cool and will take advantage of Star-Lord's release and get a SW Ultimate buff done in the next week or so so nobody feels bad.
We are still a ways off from the level 52 design reviews, but MichaelMayhem has been working on the design for the SW review for a few months.
Can't say I'm overly impressed with Star-Lord so far. Seems pretty squishy and very low DPS early on.
So is that cosmic trade-in implemented yet? Where you can trade cosmics for unstable?
That recipe didn't make it to the live patch. Hopefully next time.
Early on sucks. Still debating how I'm going to spec overall but I love using the nades a lot.
I don't think Starlord is actually bad, I think he just needs some of animation/delay weirdness fixed so that you can actually use all your abilities smoothly like everyone else.
I'm still sour on his elemental tree as is. I don't think he's bad either, just feels kinda poo early on. He definitely feels like a crazy spirit hog though.
Thanks everyone.
This was in her forum.
Neat.
Oh, btw, do you guys have a veil preference with SW? I use ominious.
That's pretty much exactly how I'm building/playing my Starlord, red.
A character I want enough to spend real money on him day one, and of course he comes out on the weekend I'm moving and can't connect to the internet. The Star-Lord bundle is the standard 1800G's, right?
How can I be added to the group? Every time I try to send a tell to inky as the OP suggests he is offline.

Downloading Marvel Heroes for the first time right now, any tips for a newbie as how I should start?
I'm experienced enough in the genre and whatnot, just more specifics such as character/builds that are good to aim for. Rather not pick something that is nerfed horribly relative to other heroes.
Thanks, will see if I can join up Gaf there too when install is done.
Yes. There's a few tips I'd like to give you that made my life much easier in the game.
- Don't worry too much about spec'ing your hero. Put points into what sounds fun to you. You can get point reset potions (Retcon Device) during your progress through the story, and Gazillion often gifts them as well if you want to be more competitive/aware of your hero's build.
- Don't pick up white or green quality items (unless you don't have an item in that slot at all), they're not worth the inventory space. Keep all currency type of items (Eternity Splinters, Cube Shards, etc.), Boosts, Uniques and Relics. Those will go into your stash. If you're willing to spend some money, Gs are immensely useful to buy additional stash tabs.
- Any items you don't need anymore and aren't of the aforementioned type, you should donate towards your vendors to level them up and unlock better recipes/equipment. The leveling is most useful in this order: Crafter > Enchanter > the 2 shops (I picked weapon vendor first cause he's closer). Credits are easily acquired, so selling items should only start becoming an option once you have leveled the vendors all to their max (20).
- Don't bother picking up crafting ingredients (cyan colored). You will be able to get the max level crafting ingredients when you have a higher level hero, and you won't need to craft on the way to 60 anyway.
- Uru-Forged are cool items to have, but only really keep those around you really need. I actually pick up all Runes (the crafting ingredients used on Uru Forged) even if I don't need em, but if you're not willing to spend money on more stash tabs, you might wanna pick and choose later on.
- Once you have acquired enough Eternity Splinters to buy a hero, I'd suggest to pick up the random box instead of specific heroes, unless you really want a specific hero. As long as you have around half of the roster or less, the odds are in your favor to not get a duplicate hero.
- Only play through the story once when you start out. There's benefits to playing through it again on higher difficulties, but it's easier to retroactively breeze through Heroic/Superheroic (and Normal if you have more than 1 hero) story with a higher level than to slowly grind yourself through it thrice. Once you reach Level 20, make doing Legendary Quests your priority to acquire maximum XP gain.
That's about all I can think of right now. Don't hesitate to ask in the thread or in the group chat (once you're invited to the GAF group, if you want that) if there's anything unclear.

What's your in game name, leave it here and someone can get you.
Xevren did you take a look at the Marvel Heroes MMORPG's site AMA?
I think you might like it.
Just to chime in to new guy advice: spending your first 175 splinters on a random box is certainly a decent idea, you PROBABLY won't get fucked, but instead spending your first 200 on Taskmaster is also a very solid move. He is a terrific value at 200 splinters, and essentially lets you try out abilities from 4 other heroes.
Any word on Ant-Man? I assume for the movie. I sure hope they make a better helmet. The one in game is just awful.
He's on the short list for 2015, from what I know. But no real news beyond him being Pym.
looking forward to seeing how they handle Ant-man/Giant man. Also, if it was possible Yellow Jacket would be a sweet alt costume. But me would kinda need different skills though....hmmmm.
Any word on Runaways?
With X-23 on the way, will the next/younger generation of New X-men (Surge, Dust, Pixie), Runaways or Young Avengers be on the way next?
They are on the long-term list of heroes and Team-Ups options. Noriko's powers would look cool in game and we could do a lot of fancy lightning animations.
