Are there any benefits in this version to have played ME2 or even ME1 in terms of your character at the start of the game?

The launch trailer is up?
Get out of the first area, once the game tells you that you can explore for 40 minutes you can just let the game idle until the timer runs out. I think there are messages when 15 minutes remain and 5 minutes remain that pause the timer until you accept them, so just check it at those 2 times. When do I unlock the gun in the Amalur demo? Do I have to beat it?
or you could just cover up the area where comments appear with a piece of paper over your monitorYou need to have a really low resolution to make that work.
The real answer is greasemonkey. Hide YT comments - like this one.

I think I may just play vanilla ME3 first then play a second time with my ME2 save. I didn't like how my ME2 ended but want to see the affects of it.
I'm wondering the same thing.
Will any of the ME2 DLC "choices" tie into ME3?
Speaking of which, have people managed to just dissect save games to see exactly what it keeps track of?Will any of the ME2 DLC "choices" tie into ME3?
Anyone have a link to the rest of these? They're always good for a chuckle.
Im sure I read somewhere on a not-so-helpful inspirational poster that the only roads we should regret are the ones not taken. To be honest, though, if I knew where every road would end ahead of time, Id probably be tempted to take a detour every now and then. But at what cost? Just how much would I change to achieve a certain outcome in my life and relationships? That brings me to an even more common inspirational saying: Its not the destinationits the journey.
For better or worse, I tend to agree with this last one. And more importantly, it perfectly expresses how I feel about Mass Effect 3
The best way to enjoy the characters and relationships in Mass Effect 3 is by experiencing them.
Its not about the destination or the outcomeits about the moments you share with these characters. Yes, of course, some of them can be romanced, but wheres the fun in knowing that ahead of time? I honestly think youll enjoy each of the characters more by not knowing.
And weve done a lot to make sure your journey with each of the characters in Mass Effect 3 will be the best one yet:
Memorable Moments: Conversations with characters in Mass Effect 3 are more than just opportunities to gain information; theyre designed to be unforgettable. I challenged each writer to make every moment memorable. The moments didnt have to be long, and they didnt require a lot of words, but they had to mean somethingto the character, to Shepard, and hopefully to you. One practical way we did this was to make sure there were no fixed locations for these moments. They could literally happen anywhere. And preferably in a place that meant something to the characters involved.
Dynamic Interactions: Now, more than ever, the relationships in Mass Effect evolve naturally. Characters react to your choices and actions, including, of course, romantic ones. We give you the opportunity to make every interaction mean something in the long term. Its not simply about completing a conversation to get on to the next one; its about how you interact during each conversation. And its about each choice you make to evolve that relationship.
Personal Relationships: In the past, you often became closer to the characters of Mass Effect simply through the exchange of information. That discussion could be about almost anything, but one topic was was rarely discussed outside of a final climactic encounter: Shepards relationship to that character. In Mass Effect 3, one of the topics that will come upfor those who are looking for itis Shepards personal relationship with those closest to the commander. For some characters in Mass Effect 3, its been an emotional roller coaster ride with Shepard, and theyve got something to say about that.
These are just some of things weve done to ensure youll enjoy the relationships and characters of Mass Effect 3 more by experiencing them, not simply playing them. And for those of you who still desperately want that Roadmap to Love and Happiness, youll soon be able to piece it all together from the details on the forums.

So apparently relationships with characters took a big leap for ME3. Mac Walters was saying that now, those characters you had a romantic relationship with, will basically acknowledge that throughout the game in more than one way like the typical "climactic" encounters before the final mission like in ME1 and ME2.

Hope it's true, but I'll take what they're saying with a grain of salt.
I have a terrible memory and have trouble remembering a lot of what happened in both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. I definitely want to play through both games another time, but will not be able to before the third in the series comes out.
Will Mass Effect 3 have any sort of "previously on Mass Effect" recap?
Or is there anything on the internet that could help me remember what happened?
Looks like most players didn't play on higher than default difficulty where you need Miranda all the time.
Holy Sh..! Why didn't I know about this addon before?!?!
Does your Multiplayer gear and stats from the demo carry to the full game?
I'm optimistic but they pretty much always say this kind of thing for all of their games. Jack was supposed to be their best character ever and The DA Awakening conversation with teammates was supposed to be deeper than the one in DAO according to them.

Which is why I'm hoping for the best and preparing for the "worst"...by worst I mean to be significantly disappointed by the conversations and "moments" not living up to the hype.
Creepy Liara was hitting on my Shephard throughout ME2. I hope she doesn't interpret that as we're already in a relationship on ME3.
What did Bioware end up doing about the call for guy-guy relationships anyway?
I seem to recall people calling them hypocrites.....
I hope Jacob comes back i want him on my team.
I think my male shepard is with Jack...wonder if shepard can go gay for Vega.
I think so, yeah.
I think it's either going to be hilariously awkward or just plain awkward. :lol
