I never even realized you could request new uniforms. I'm gonna totally do that the next time I get caught outside after sunrise and need some camo instead of the sneaking suit.

Did mission 10 last night. Honestly I don't see myself doing anything other than stealth, it just so much fun sneaking around. Unless, you know, the game doesn't really give me a choice. Not gonna be upset if I have to start blowing shit up.

think im done for real now,had no problems with any soul/bloodborne boss like this one

dunno whats wrong with me but i just cant beat him

Are you using the
several armoured vehicles and tanks that you'll find as you head down the hill? They allow you to deplete it's health to half pretty easily.

I told you about them earlier but you didn't reply.

Speaking of the phantom cigars, is there any way to stop it early so it doesn't skip ahead a full 12 hours? Maybe that comes in an upgrade?

yes but then all of them just stop working

and the tank controls so so so so bad

That feature is such a godsend. It really encourages experimentation and the game could have been super frustrating if you go in with the wrong stuff and have to retry in order to change your loadout

Man what's the fucking deal with taking down comms? It basically never works for me, ever. I scout and find a couple towers, C4 them quietly, then retreat and blow it. But every fucking time they just respond by "calling CP" anyway. What the fuck does it take to knock out comms for real here? Is there a way to be sure it'll work before wasting time, energy, and C4?

Killing coms doesn't remove local communication to CP, it prevents CP from talking to HQ and bringing in reinforcements from outside the current base.

Goddamn Quiet is a beast as buddy, can't wait to unlock silenced sniper for her. It'll be almost like a cheat code. I haven't interrogated a single solder since she and DD has been with me, they pretty much scout out what I'm looking for.

Use
D-Walker with a minigun after that. Hide behind giant rocks when it mounts itself on the mountain to use its rail gun, but otherwise don't stop moving. Don't use rocket launchers, I didn't find them effective. Bring an LMG.

What's the difference between the little satellite dishes and the radio boxes that are usually inside the buildings? I know the big satellite dishes give you closer LZ's by blowing them up.

Also what do the guys who patrol in groups of two on the streets with what look like radio boxes do?

Little satellite dishes are just another way to knock out comms like the radio boxes.

The big rotating radar dishes are the ones that get you a new LZ.

No idea about the patrol guys.

Just booted up the game for a morning sesh before the wife and kids get up and I still can't cnnect to the servers. I have had no luck since launch day and still haven't managed to download my GZ svae. I'm starting to wonder if it's an Australia thing.

Hmmm when I did it it was in a room guarded by guards, and then when I picked it up I got a radio call confirming I got it. And then you have to carry it on your back, did that happen for you? Maybe it's in different places though depending on the time? Weird

I feel you. Luckily there are tons of side ops and stuff to keep you occupied until you wanna attempt it again.

Nope, I didn't have to carry anything on my back. Weird.

I'll try the mission again tomorrow. Maybe I'm just not in the right mindset now. I just feel like I need a cutscene with some interesting story here to keep me going.

In other news, I found these two t-shirts and a hoodie at a GameStop today:

And now Imgur is playing tricks on me. Why is that photo upside down, when it isn't here on my computer. Blah I'm heading to bed.

Guys i need help. I got a combat deployment which is yellow called
crush the drug cartel
. When i click it it says "cannot dispatch due to fighting vehicle insufficiency."
How do i do this? It's clearly integral to the story as it's yellow but it's not letting me do it even though i have vehicles.
Guys someone please help me with this I'm stuck, i have no main missions to do

Chapter 16
FUCK YOU

Had problems with it, but tried something dumb and it worked. Even got S-Rank.

I ran to the base where the truck start and climbed over the fence around back. Dived in before the skulls cutscene and crawled up to the truck after and fulton'd until it worked. Then I rode D-Horse out of the hot zone. Took like 5 minutes

Is there a limit to how many custom songs you can have on PC? I wanna go hard on the pre-84 jams so badly.

I think it's 100 on PC. And 10 on PS3/360?

You must've not picked it up. It's an actual weapon you equip. I had to drop my sniper rifle to get it.
Oh duh!!!!

I picked up the suitcase that was hidden behind the stones. But on my way out of the cave I see I have a rocket launcher on my back, which confused me, so I went back to exchange it for my sniper rifle, and then I headed back to the helicopter. Thought I had accidentally picked up a rocket launcher from some soldier. Hahahahaha, I gotta go lye dow.

What's the best way to farm fuel resources? I'm 26% completed at mission 15. Command Center is 4/4 but I want to upgrade the rest as well but it takes soooooo much fuel. How do you guys farm it?

I'm not going to defend it much, but war criminals systematically do worse things on a daily basis in the real world.

This stuff is covered widely and frequently in prose fiction (in far deeper detail, too). Why can't it be covered in a video-game?

It wasn't that it was where it was that I took to be gratuitous (med bay scene spoiler)
It was the rubber gloved hand preparing to go in I found gratuitous, I don't really get offended at stuff, this didn't offend me, but I found it unnecessarily nasty

Scared about this combat deployment mission... For anyone who has done a lot of them and past Mission 31 (I think that is when this particular mission becomes available anyway).

Mission is called "Protecting the peacekeepers" when you have the walking tank, and I have an S+, 2 S soldiers, and the rest are A++, but my chance of success is apparently 55% and 20% chance of loss. Should I just wait till/if, I can get more S class soldiers or will the chances always be like this?

Have to say though, after playing for several days solid, I'm getting burned out, ha ha, but I havent even finished the story yet and trying to S rank and do all the mission tasks on the side as well!

EDIT:
What?! I cancelled the mission and I lost the walker tank! How the hell can I get that back!?

The ranking system for missions is absolutely fucked.

Take a slow and stealthy approach, trigger no alerts, and complete a few optional objectives? B

Go in guns blazing, sprint towards the primary objective, and then bail out on a chopper? S

my r&d level was too low for the truck fulton so I got out my rocket launcher, and had quiet watch my back. Killed the skulls, rode the truck out and got my A rating lol

lol, glad we solved this mystery.

Sounds like you are going a bit too slow in your stealth runs.

Yeah I think my biggest point penalties have come from how long it takes me to complete missions due to being slow, stealthy, and thorough

Soviets are gonna hate me. TREMBLE BEFORE MY HELLA EARLY PUNK.

I fucking wish. Post-84, unfortunately. I want to be historically accurate with my music choices.

I mean, if you wanted to make a list of appropriate songs and post it, you know, that would be like, awesome, man.

You can technically go to '85 if you want since that's when the game takes place. There are songs already in the game like 'You Spin Me Round' that were released in '85.

Edit: Nvm, it is 84. Well the game isn't consistent then lol. Maybe that song was a single the year before.
