I'm at the Honey Bee mission and I got to be real honest, I am super bored. I'm getting a little bored with the setting, the horse riding is a little clunky, and I feel like I am scoping the environment for enemies and then infiltrating every single time. I know it can be done a hundred ways, but man, I'm not up for exploring that.

All I'm doing, is waiting for the boss battles and cutscenes.

I gotta get through this, gotta be strong.

Be strong... the honey bee mission is actually pretty good once you get near the end of it

It doesn't work.
You can only extract yourself through a container because you get an option to hold onto the fulton cable. With a truck you just slip and fall down.

I've been thinking of trying this with non-fultonable prisoners.
Would be great if it works.
Aw man that's a bummer, I'll try it with non-fultonable guys but I'm thinking it might be tough since I did have to toss the guys into the back.

You know you have to be extracted by helicopter to complete missions right?

I did that.

Because it's a story mission. Things happen when you are leaving the base.

Always look at the "Starring" in the beginning of mission to get an idea which enemies may show up. Continue for another few minutes, my friend.

The mission isn't done yet.

I'm not reading those "starring" names anymore, can be spoilery.

Hmmm if you extracted out with the Honey Bee then you should have beaten it and gotten a rank. The seconda objectives stop being question marks after you beat a mission. Did you get the cutscene
with skullface
or encounter the
skulls?
Those happen at the end of the mission.
I didn't get any cutscene by the end. Maybe I were too fast to extract.

Did you hit "return to ACC" from the menu? That's not the same thing as extracting.
No. I called the chopper.

---

I'm gonna turn off the game for a while. Having to travel by horse for 2000m to get back to the place, and having to ride through those bases filled with soldiers along the way just did it. Too frustrated.

Man what's the fucking deal with taking down comms? It basically never works for me, ever. I scout and find a couple towers, C4 them quietly, then retreat and blow it. But every fucking time they just respond by "calling CP" anyway. What the fuck does it take to knock out comms for real here? Is there a way to be sure it'll work before wasting time, energy, and C4?

Keep watching the screen, Lambda.

When I was invaded my retaliation was a massacre. I put everyone on the ground, checked their rank, and if they didn't have a B I put I bullet in their heads. What I lost in 'Heroism' I gained back in 'Don't fuck with me' points.

I'm thinking I'll just cripple soldiers by shooting them in the kneecaps for future retaliations. Leave my enemy to tend to their weak.

Oh I will do the same.

Game's amazing but I HATE the fact that you lose fame if you kill someone/are seen.

I'd been sneaking during side missions for a good bit, but felt like hanging back and sniping an outpost near me only for my heroism to decrease by 10.

Yeah but you get fame for everything, including but not limited to extracting hedgehogs back to Mother Base.

There's no shortage of Fame when you're Hedgehog Boss.

Is there a benefit to (Clothing spoiler)
using the Ground Zeroes Sneaking Suit instead of the Regular (MGS1 like) Sneaking Suit? The regular Sneaking suit apparently has more armor than the GZ one, but is there something that makes the GZ one better?

That's bizzarre. Are you sure you got the honey bee?
It's deep in the caves and you get the cutscene on your way out
so you would have had to get the cutscene to get back to your chopper. Maybe your game glitched. Either way that sounds frustrating because it's a very long mission.

On the plus side, the gameplay is super replayable so take a bit of break and then next time you do it go back through the mission tackling things in totally different ways to keep it fresh.

At least, I think I'm starting to learn the voices of Ocelot and Kazuhira Miller in the tapes, and the tapes are interesting at the moment. But I'm gonna take a break now, it just doesn't make me anything but frustrated.

Yes, it was
hidden deep inside the caves, and I used C4 to reveal it behind the stones.

But this is exactly what I hate doing in games. I don't like to do the same things but in different ways.

So when the hell do I get use of DD? And Quiet? I feel like I've had DD for fucking ever by now.

EDIT: Jesus, lmao, I post this and turn back to leave Mother Base and DD's ready... lol

Did a Side Ops in Afghanistan. Decided why not let's put on Final Countdown by Europe and proceeded to snipe everyone from afar without getting spotted. Moved in, song started to end, got blindsided by a soldier and Take On Me came on, whipped out my grenade launcher and moved to phase 2 of Side Ops - pure annihilation of the enemy forces while my jam plays.

Sensazionale.

Can you use the Phantom Cigar to speed up development time for platforms or anything you are developing?

Waiting 90 minutes for a platforms completion is a bit OTT.

is there any way to stop quiet from firing after giving her the order? had a b rank medical guy cornered and as i was about to cqc him quiet splatters his brains on the ground.

The Honeybee mission (6 I think) was jaw dropping. Having to navigate through a couple tiny outposts to work my way through a small crack in the canyon to come upon one of the craziest level designs I've ever seen. Sooooo good.

Soon as I saw the color of the rocks I requesting a supply drop for a new uniform. Felt like a real soldier for real.

Played through the first five missions and a couple side ops.

Am I supposed to Fulton as many troops as possible or only specialists? Do I dismiss the unskilled guys? Do I go from town to town recruiting specialists? How are you guys handling this part of the game?

I have a troublemaker that for some reason cannot be dismissed. Is there any way to get rid of him?

I was thinking of arranging an 'accident' for him if I ever saw him on Mother Base but so far haven't seen him around.

You go for dat gold tiger cammo?

Finally able to put a silencer on my tranq sniper rifle... not a 1 mission after I decide to start using non lethal weapons and killing people... poor timing on my part. Up to 51 kills total now :(

I've upgraded my binoculars so I can see who's good at what. Then I just fulton them.

Early on though it's good to just fulton everyone until you can upgrade the binoculars.

God that mission went south for me so fast. I got the place that you are talking about and couldn't figure out a way to navigate it. Was seen, ended up killing everyone with my assult rifle.

Thinking back on it, it was probably one of the best times to use the Phantom Cigar to see if the nighttime put me in a better position, which I have not used once in my playthrough.

I gotta take advantage of all my resources...

think im done for real now,had no problems with any soul/bloodborne boss like this one

dunno whats wrong with me but i just cant beat him

Hmmm when I did it it was in a room guarded by guards, and then when I picked it up I got a radio call confirming I got it. And then you have to carry it on your back, did that happen for you? Maybe it's in different places though depending on the time? Weird

I feel you. Luckily there are tons of side ops and stuff to keep you occupied until you wanna attempt it again.
