Its cool how Kojima puts in all those easter egg stuff, in his previous works.
But is also impressive how people find these things.
Also seeing people being creative and trying new ways to beat missions.
Someone releasing a bear in an enemy base was mind blowing.

The depth of this game really changes depending on the users creativity.
And thats what impresses me.
Keep in mind that Konami is struggling to stabilise FOB online missions.
I have a feeling that even if the MGO servers go online on Oct 6th, it'll be a mess.
Is this game breaking records on gaf in terms of OT number of posts? 2nd OT already. I'll be starting MGS 3 in about a week, then GZ and finally TPP. Got the official guide as well, time to finish the Halo Books and Halo 4 and I'll get into MGS before Halo 5.

Am I missing something? I keep seeing references to using the tranq sniper as early as mission 11, but I'm on mission 17 and I still can't figure out how to unlock the thing. I have the sniper rifle unlocked, but can't do the tranq conversion. Is this something that doesn't happen until I can customize weapons?
I really like this type of lore and world building in open world games. Hardly see it outside of sprawling RPGs. It reminds me a lot of Dark Souls where you have to work for the story and piece together things from info you've gotten from various sources. I love all the tiny bits of info you get from tapes and overheard conversations.

Could it be that tanks have different hit zones? Destroyed a fair share of tanks by now and it only seems to take 2 rockets from the first rocket launcher when you attack them from the back vs 4 rockets when you attack them from the front.

doesn't actually work. It's a marketing tool with weak armour just so that it can stand up. That's explained in a tape. It's just there to get people to want to do business with Skull Face, and it only works because of Tretij puppeting it.

Do I really have to explore every platform of Motherbase to not miss any bits of story?
I have just found out that Paz was in the med bay and was wondering if there was anything else I was missing by not checking out every corner of my base.
