I checked the release date at my local EB and it now says January '06 for the release date, even though it's still listed as October on their website.

Personally, pushing it back for January so it can use the Wi-Fi functions would be a smart move.

Actually, the screens above, that Nintendo has listed for 8/17, are actually the screens that were originally released on 10/7/2004 when the game was announced. Don't know why they reposted them... The E3 shots are more recent than them.

Engine looks great. HUD looks like asbolute crap. Lets hope for varied gameplay.

By the way, the menu graphics for Animal Crossing To Go! look like crap as well. Why the hell is Nintendo messing with the beautiful stuff they do on GCN?

Can someone sell me on the multiplayer Metroid aspect? i never played Metroid Prime 2 multiplayer, and it just sounds like a really bland concept, largely due to the fact that there's a limited selection of weapons/items.
