Knew this is all the shills would focus on. Amazing how they also did in this very thread.
The problem is so does Playstation, it's called PR. Everyone does it so to speak, so stop acting like xbox is the only villain here. The problem with these xbox executives is that they lie so much, especially in public. So much so that I don't even think they know what the real truth is anymore.
Looks like we got someone in denial here, like most of you!Looks like we‘ve got another Florian alt, boys!
Microsoft got their shit punched in today. Booty and Hines got wrecked on examination, every single one of Microsoft’s public statements were exposed as lies by their internal emails and testimony by both Hines and Bond.
Anyone trying to spin this as a win for Microsoft lives in an alternate reality or is a paid shill. They absolutely got exposed on EVERY account as being anti-competitive with only one goal in mind: Shutting out everyone else.
Can anyone confirm that this really happened because Holy Shit.
Whilst Tom is vermin for spreading it, this came from Microsoft direct; So he's ignoring everything else that happened today and is zoning in on Jimbo's internal email addressed to employees?
Just when you think he's peaked, he goes and outdoes himself.

You can't say that for certain at all.
It's just day one, nobody is winning.
The FTC's goal today was to show how untrustworthy MS is and they showed that but MS didn't reveal anything anti-competitive that would force the deal to get blocked
They are so disgusting![]()

To be fair, what the F else could they focus on after that disaster?Knew this is all the shills would focus on. Amazing how they also did in this very thread.
It's unfair to say they didn't do anything, they showed that MS lied on exclusivity and were dishonest in their communication and that likely also bleeds into their 10-year contracts, and their promise to Sony. They also redacted (in the audio) another contract with Nvidia signed on the same day as the 10 year deal that was secret that could also look bad, we dunno. The problem is so does Playstation, it's called PR. Everyone does it so to speak, so stop acting like xbox is the only villain here.

FTC didn't win anything today nor did they punch anyone to be exact, they made no point and messed up on numerous occasions.
So either we were listening to the same zoom or you just pulling it out your ass cause it's Microsoft involved.
If the FTC wants to win, it needs a lot a lot more. Of course, discovering that Indiana Jones will be exclusive (even more so when the acquisition of Zenimax was approved without conditions) or that the agreement with Nvidia has standard and common clauses of rupture by both parties is not enough.
That said, there are 4 more days left and surely the evidence and reports against and in favor stronger. I just hope they are entertained like today. The statement of P. Spencer, Nadella and the recorded video of JIm Ryan should be the highlights
Thst is not the full detailed report as to how they reached and expect to enforce. They still have yet to release their full report.I already answered your question.
It's not that hard to read.

Mergers: Commission clears acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft, subject to conditions
The European Commission has approved, under the EU Merger Regulation, the proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard (‘Activision') by Microsoft.ec.europa.eu
The problem is not that Tom spreads this news (or the quote from MS).Whilst Tom is vermin for spreading it, this came from Microsoft direct;
“Today showed Sony has known all along we’ll stand by our promise to keep games on its platform and made clear its work to lobby against the deal is only to protect its dominant position in the market,” says David Cuddy, general manager of public affairs at Microsoft, in a statement to The Verge.

They double down on their shit. It was just a "thought experiment" right, cunts?Whilst Tom is vermin for spreading it, this came from Microsoft direct;

I'm embarrassed, as a gamer, to say it a little...... that, despite the hours, I found this hearing shorter than the Playstation and Xbox ShowcaseI can't disagree. I'm against the acquisition but this is a damn tall hill for the FTC to climb. I don't think folks should get their hopes up here.
I'm here for the entertainment as well. This shit is fascinating.
Not holding my breath with EU corruption. Is there going to be one? And what are they waiting on? Shady as fuck those guys
I found it more entertaining than both.I'm embarrassed, as a gamer, to say it a little...... that, despite the hours, I found this hearing shorter than the Playstation and Xbox Showcase![]()
Yeah, Full report always comes sometimes later tbh.Is there going to be one? And what are they waiting on? Shady as fuck those guys
The fundamental problem with the FTC argument is that it’s quite a traditional, almost ‘vanilla’ competition claim. MS are obviously talking themselves down as much as possible, as Sony’s success makes the FTC position harder to maintain.Nothing is "for certain". I'm not basing my opinion on one day. I've been saying this for months now. FTC has little to no teeth to stop this. It all depends on the CMA.
If I'm wrong then I'll be ecstatically wrong.
Most people don't care about how Microsoft operates. Especially gamers. Microsoft just wants to winIt was a disaster for Microsoft because we are getting more and more insight into how they operate. Microsoft will win the hearing. I have no doubt about that. But all kinds of shit is getting exposed here.

We have another 3 or 4 days of this shit. And then a trial.Whelp, fingers crossed for this to be resolved quickly and not dragged on any longer.

In short, for the EEA, MS has confirmed that any ABK game can be streamed to any cloud device. What were the remedies? I ask this the second time since the only regulator that failed to disclose their full report, was the EC. So, people are repeating this. What are the remedies?

I have a strong sense that if the injunction is denied, MS will try to close it and take care of the trial as it happens. Even that will be closure in some sense.
And we learned they have an opt-out clause for any reason. So how is the EU planning on levying? In short, for the EEA, MS has confirmed that any ABK game can be streamed to any cloud device.
MS will win the hearing? You sure?
But I thought that's not possible because the deal between MS and Activision called for FTC and CMA approval as a condition? Then how can they close the deal without a CMA approval without renegotiating the deal first?I have a strong sense that if the injunction is denied, MS will try to close it and take care of the trial as it happens. Even that will be closure in some sense.
Oh, we could tell. She is, without a doubt, the leading candidate to succeed Phil whenever he retires/resigns.
Oh, we could tell.
Both of Phil's balls in your throat?I might need a tag change if/when that happens. Suggestions welcome![]()

Judge declared this to everyone in the court. If the FTC had an issue, their lawyers could/would have objected?I'm mindblown how that is not considered a conflict of interest.
In current year, you can be whatever you want to be.Sarah's a dude?
