Rumors are that they have either started acquisition talks or talks have been ongoing for a while. These rumors having been heating up all over the internet within the past week. Is this even possible? How big is too big?

I'm not convinced Rockstar are the same company they once were.
GTA6 should have been delivered by now.
GTAV had no single player expansion(s).
They seem to just be interested in selling Shark cards. Happy to be proven wrong .
Didn't a founder of Rockstar leave recently because of lack of creativity within Rockstar? I could be wrong….
Even the supposed remaster is in question, they didn't show anything that was tangible.

These are the same guys who were "teasing" that Microsoft was going to buy 3-5 studios earlier this year.



Colteastwood was teasing 2-5 studios, even Dealer said Sony was going to purchase Arc System Works.

I also don't know why Shpeshal_Nick keeps getting attention. he has been wrong a lot of stuff and people still think he's reliable.

The scenario is a brand that functionally dead in mainland europe, being outsold in the UK its second strongest market, and dead in the entire asian market buying publishers. People assume that these big games would force everyone to buy an xbox but i think the reality is that the vast majority gamers just move on without them or a new game would take its place.

It doesn't help that what feels like the majority of releases these days are GaaS and a good portion of people are going "ok so I can keep playing this one longer then."

F2P GaaS titles are hurting a lot of titles that would normally sell better I think
