Great, can't wait till we sign Overbay
My guess is we would still keep Overbay, but I think Ben likes Mauro Gomez and he will probably be the third option. Biggest concern is Ortiz's health going into the season and having flexibility at the DH/1B position.

He's gonna go Mike Morse on us .... especially in Fenway.
But there really was no room for him on the M's ... he isn't really an outfielder at all.
He could probably play some LF at Fenway in emergency scenarios. Still, he is probably going to hang out around 1B/DH. Napoli sounds like he should be fine there, his hip apparently is a non-issue for the time being.
It is sorta useful for projecting some fantasy stats, but the WBC probably causes more players to bloom later.
I think someone in a wheelchair could cover LF in Fenway.
I'd rather have Carp than Ibanez ... but whatever.

Agreed man. International competition is awesome. And it grows the sport. USA winning would drive up interest in baseball I think. Sucks that ESPN isnt showing the gms. Less ppl have MLB Network.

I tried to issue a drug suspension in MLB 12: The Show. It was overturned on a BS technicality, but I was vindicated.
