AL Wild Card is a crazy mess right now. Though I thought the A's had the West on lock before the Angels got crazy hot last month.
I'd still love to see the Mariners in the playoffs, even if it was only for a single game.
Last night should have had a higher attendance with Felix pitching and all. At least that's what I'd think...
But I don't count since I don't live in Washington and have only been to four games in my life (3 this year though)

Hanley had two errors. First error would have ended the inning and game would have been scoreless.
If it happens it will be the first time the team with the best record at the ASB fails to make it. All this after those trades, too. That would hurt.
Additionally, both Minnesota and Boston will be eliminated from the AL Wild Card and a playoff spot no matter what happens tomorrow.

McHugh is a really damn good pitcher. And the Mariners have hit the ball hard quite a few times. Jackson got robbed by the shortstop, Cano lined out hard, Saunders hit a moon shot to the wall, and Chavez executed a perfect hit and run that went right at the shortstop for a double play. I am not saying it's been a stellar offensive performance, but they don't deserve to lose any more than the Astros deserve to win tonight.
New rule for 2015: Both teams can lose a single game now.

So apparently Braves CEO Terry McGuirk is pissed and said everyone is accountable if the Braves don't make the playoffs. Would he fire the Braves' beloved Fredi? Or even Frank Wren?
