But they've played baseball, a lot, which is what they are doing. Stuff like "playoff experience" just feels like needing a way to explain away the fact that a guy made an error, because in baseball sometimes guys make errors, whether it's during the regular season, spring training or even in the World Series.

but i do think there is something to be said for the pressure of the playoffs in any sport, and especially the pressure of a championship looming. people who have never been there before can get nervous, can over think things, can do things they wouldn't normally do in a regular season game

Stuff like Murphy, Hosmer Id say were so im play no time to think. The only difference is Wright hesitated and Duda had a lot of time to think w Hosmer stealing. Thats where it begins to fall into potential choke territory. Eitvwas also such a horribly thrown ball. He looked like he had Hos with a decent throw

Top of the Mets lineup is dangerous, mainly Granderson. Royale havent gotten a thing going since tied? Could be a missed opportunity

D'Arnaud can't vary pitch location for his life, what was that 5 pitches in the same location?

Holy shit D"Arnaud, you better work on your fielding and throwing in the offseason you piece of garbage

How many stolen base does that make jezz, like the Royals can just send their slowest guy and he will make it. Every wall or single is a double

to be fair Kc was 5th in stolen bases and the only starter that didn't have a stolen base this year was Kendrys Morales.

they are a team with a lot of speed, that isn't afraid to use it to steal or force errors.

That was really hittable.

KC doesn't have to be as good as the mets at pitching right now.
the stress on the batters is completely different.

for KC they are up 3-1 and are heading home. If they don't win tonight, it's a shame but no big deal.

for the mets, it's do or die which adds extra stress, especially when facing a team that has repeatedly been scoring late. it's hard to not let that get to you.
