MMA-GAF |OT5| Father Time Is Undefeated

alr1ght

bish gets all the credit :)
Young Leonard Garcia has retired. Can't deal with those grapplers, but maybe will return for some kickboxing. lol

I think I'm going with Jordan prediction.

Tito Ortiz vs. Stephan Bonnar

Jordan Breen: Ortiz is faded, but he’s facing a historically flimsy brawler who has done less in the game than he has in the last three years. Official prediction: “The People’s Champion” starts hot, taking down Bonnar and pounding away. Then a masked Justin McCully runs into the cage with a steel chair. Ortiz ducks his chair shot and his former training partner accidentally lays out Bonnar. As McCully recoils in horror, Ortiz slams him to the mat in the style he did to the late Evan Tanner before tearing into the best gravedigger routine in years. Alternately: Ortiz wins by monotonous decision

Wow, talk about some bullshit. Apparently Fight Pass blacks out certain events ...

And that my friends is why I'll never subscribe to any online-based video or music service.

The stranglehold of pre-existing old-media publishing rights over movies, TV, music and games needs to die.

Melvin Manhoef -133

Joe Schilling +123

Is this some kinda joke?

Schilling is 1-3 in his MMA career. Thinking of putting down $2500 on Manhoef tonight unless its some kinda trap bet? Anyone got more info on this Schilling dude and why the odds are so skewed?

edit: found out hes of kickboxing/muay thai fame lol

still sounds like a decent line for a bet but then again manhoef has struggled in kickboxing as well

Not to mention that (according to his Sherdog profile) the last MMA fight he had was in 2008. He's had a sub-par kickboxing career. Manhoef should ace this guy.

Hmm that does seem odd given the tear Manhoef has been on lately. This Joe Schilling is a late replacement too isn't he?

I have no clue if the odds are crazy but everyone took Schilling at the Sherdog Roundtable. Mostly due to Schilling being better at kickboxing and a longer range fighter. And because Melvin, they argued, is now too slow and old.

Bellaforce has announced it's first few events of 2015. Including such fights as:

Pitbull Friere vs. Daniel Straus
Douglas Lima vs. Paul Daley
Emanuel Newton vs. Liam McGeary
Bobby Lashley vs. James Thompson 2
Sokodjou vs. Linton Vassell
Joe Warren vs. Marcos Galvao

RIP Tournaments.

Bjorn's legacy: Events in Thackerville, Oklahoma:

In the meantime, Coker is still in the process of fulfilling previous Bellator deals; as the casino locations for the first three shows, familiar to Bellator fans, are all dates on existing contracts. Coker also promised to honor title shots for fighters who earned them through the previous tournament format, which applies to McGeary's shot at Newton's belt.

Newton vs. McGeary is on my radar, though. Should be a good one.
