You know what? I think Anderson might sub Bones if they fought. Jones has this horrible habit of leaving his arms straight out while in guard.

I think the obvious style counter for Jones is a BJJ wiz. Of course there are none at 205 so he gets away with his bad habits and he sure has plenty of them but let me back off before I get accused of hating.
The Little Eagle soars again! Thanks for making me never want to think about sex again on the same day the Rhonda Rousey goods come out, guys...
Fuck you.
Fuck you.
And fuck you.
Alan Belcher fights so sparingly that I didn't even realize he was on a 4 fight win streak. 4 wins in 4 years.
If only Cung didn't suck, I would love to see him vs Andy. Like if he were good it would be a really interesting match up with the spinning kicks and good wrestling base.
Dos Anjos ko'd Sotiropopopopolous, he's okay in my book.
The Little Eagle soars again!
Bisping would be the money fight. Put it England and roll in the money.
If Hector Lafraud wins he gets Anderson next. The Munoz fight will be very interesting.
He will most likely be the one getting the next shot if he wins.
That's some poor trolling. Jadamba Narantungalag isn't even in the UFC.
Hunt Vs Big Country? dayum, do want. Big Country as much as I like him probably getting KTFO to 205.

If Mark Hunt was on the card I'd be 80% convinced to travel to Macau to watch it live. I'd need another few names to push me over the edge.
Ya, there were lots of times people got yellow carded in Pride when they probably couldn't do anything offensive. It was like being penalized for not opening yourself up to being attacked. Not everyone has a good bottom game or the body type to go for triangles.
It's very, very frustrating," Munoz confessed. "I know he's a good fighter. I know that he has a good record, but he was in another organization. To be in the best organization - which is the UFC - and for me to be in the UFC, and to have the best fighters in the UFC that are ranked in the world, and for me to fight them for as long as I've been in there and then a new guy coming in who has been fighting cans.

As if Chris Leben is better than Alex Shlemenko or CB Dolloway is better than a guy like Trevor Prangley. Not that I think too highly of Lombard but I can't really say Mark Munoz deserves to be ranked higher than him.Mark Munoz: Hector Lombard's Been 'Recycling' Cans, Not Fighting
He's learning.
Jon Jones said:It's not that he won't fight me or I won't fight him. To be dead honest, it's that we both have a lot to lose and we both respect each other a lot and we both are striving for personal greatness. I don't want to crack on his greatness and I don't want him cracking on my greatness. We're in completely different weight classes. We both have sponsor deals and things that are really important to us and a big part of that sponsorship package is winning [and] being a champion. Having us fight each other means one of our championships goes away. I respect Anderson Silva so much that I don't want to be the guy to beat him. I don't want to lose to him either. It's a lose-lose situation for me.
The the ass-chin, the swishy hair, the douchey "alpha male" club, and the attempt to bill him as GOAT material when he competed in WEC and he'd not really fought GOAT-worthy opponents. People were willing to pass on the Tyson Griffin loss as a one time slip, "he got lucky" thing, but Mike Brown and then Jose Aldo exposed him as quite vulnerable to a prepared opponent who isn't going to let him bully them around like he's the King of Munchkinland. Why do people hate Faber? He brings it every fight and comes off as a cool dude. He also has a unique marketable look to him.

Jon Jones explaining why none of the proposed super fights will ever become a reality.
Same thing I've always said on this subject. UFC Champions make so much more money than the rest of the roster, it's just not worth the risk.
On TUF, I think Faber came across as a lot more forced than Cruz. Faber seemed to be playing up to the cameras more and I ended up liking Cruz more than him. In regards to those losses though, in the Brown fight he broke his hands, and Jose Aldo is Jose Aldo.
Mark Hunt's winning steak (the longest in the division apart from JDS) is my favourite thing in MMA just now.
In the perfect world (of zero injuries, zero problems, etc) the UFC would give Las Vegas their yearly "Super Bowl" MMA event in July with a "UFC Night of Champions Openweight Tournament." 8 champions enter, one is crowned the True Ultimate Fighting Champion.
But yeah, injuries, the fact there would be 3 fights for the finalists, unwillingness for fighters to participate and the cheapening of the belts would kill off that idea before it even started. Not to mention total opposition from the athletic commissions.

Broke his hands and still out struck Browns bitch ass with standing elbows and held his own in the grappling department.
I'm not saying Brown is hot shit (you can't be hot shit if you lose to Manny Gambuyrian), but Faber lost to Brown twice. You can blame broke hands and shit judging on the second fight, but you can't say "I was hurt/had mono/grandma died/dog ate my homework" every time you lose and then say "but if everything was going my way, I'd be the greatest".
So I guess the GSP/BJ Penn fights are the last that we will see a super fight in UFC history. Fuckin Dana's not making it happen. Sucks that we will never see Silva/Jones as they both have zero competition (if he beats Hendo than who is next?).
Sigh. I don't even know what to say when I hear a UFC posterboy say garbage like this. It's depressing. Fuck Jon Jones. Fuck GSP, fuck all the "safe" champions, hell, fuck all the "safe" fighters, fuck the UFC for making it so the fighters want to have "safe" fights. Fuck!

Imo when you are 24 and already trying to hold on to what you have instead of dream big, you're setting yourself up for mediocrity. I can't think of any other great fighter who was already trying to protect their legacy 3-4 years into their career. I present no evidence; just my feeling.

Its fun to think what would have become if it was PRIDE that bought the UFC and not vice versa.
If Weidman wins Bisping should fight Belcher for contender status and he should fight the winner of Mak x Hector for the next spot.
