I haven't seen Jackie Brown yet. I should probably correct that.
And I was starting to dislike Cruise but then I just saw Collateral for the first time a few months ago and now I like him again. That movie was awesome and he's fantastic in it.
That's hard for me, his insanity has retroactively ruined pretty much everything he has ever done for me.

This year has been really shitty for movies here, the two movies that interested me(Argo and Killing Them Softly) had really limited releases and were removed before I could watch them.
Props for recognizing just how good Jackie Brown is. That movie never gets enough love

It's still unfathomable to me why they cast Tom Cruise as Reacher. In the books the man is 6.5 and 250 lbs, i.e 3 times the size of Tom Cruise. Meh, I'll still see it, a d I understand it's hard to get a decent actor that size. Cruise is certainly better than, like, John Cena.

By that I mean that I'm genuinely curious in knowing if there's a sizeable community of "we're being out-bred/colonised/sharia law!!11!/too many immigrants/etc" white assholes in Brazil like there is in the USA, Canada, Europe and Russia.
