Use the sockets if you can get and want another armor skill.

If it helps you get a useful skill, why not. If it just adds points towards something that doesn't activate then don't bother until you can get enough points.

The decoration slots? If you can get another skill from using them, sure. You can swap out decorations anytime, they're not permanent.

Go to the Home menu and click on the friend's list. Go the left and select Delete Friend Card and pick whoever you want gone.
