Most honest trailer ever, Outer Worlds 2

Funny, that they get the problem. Not funny in that they still DON'T get the problem.

Why are we still showing off games that have no shot of releasing until 2023 or later and haven't even begun production?
They put that trailer because for some reason there are still people who think that Outer Wolds IP is owned by Take2 and it will be multi platform.

Hopefully it's gonna be vastly better than the first one.

The trailer was pretty cringe imo.

The trailer was great imo, spot on! But I hope MS didn't include it just to have some comic relief during the show.

I enjoyed Outer Worlds and I'm looking forward to the sequel, but I hope we don't have to wait until 2025 to play it..

I think they were being sarcastic and that the game is more complete than they're letting on

cgi is a waste of money...but it's not more or less bad than a title teaser if you want to announce something is in the owen.
seems obvious part of ms strategy is that if you like western rpg you can go xbox and be sure to get lot of them.

It's not by putting others down that you raise yourself up...
The developpers are as much dishonest as any other. Just in an annoying edgelord way.
They are saying "we have nothing to show, just like the other developpers, but we're gonna mock them so you forget we do not have anything to show".

It's basically shitting your pants along with some other dudes and then pointing at them screaming "Pant shitter!" hoping to deflect attention from your own filth...

The trailer was amusing. Didn't expect it to be Outer Worlds 2 though. I should give it another chance. Been told it's one of the few true RPGs.

Anybody here played the DLC? Was it any good? I really liked the first game, even with all the swj undertones and the ugly characters, so keep that in mind.

This narrator confirms my theory that every single trailer in media, for either games or movies, is the same and probably made by the same person.

Oh C'mon. A teaser to note a sequel is being developed is not really a problem, especially when it avoids rumors of other titles. MS showed a mix of things coming in the next 6 months, things coming next year, and things further out. It was different from last year where they showed stuff they thought would come last year (but didn't), some that they thought would come this year ( and will) some titles that they thought would come this year but will come early in 2022 and then a bunch of really early stuff, most of which was not shown this year.

Yeah it was, best trailer there, i've always liked their attitude and humor, New Vegas and the Outer Worlds etc, looking forward to the TOW 2.

Yea,it was pretty good.More of the same really, two good sized stories in new enviroments.

Funny trailer, but these types of CGI / target render trailers are still annoying.

If it was up to me, these types of trailers would be revealed at a pre-show, and only real-time gameplay trailers reserved for the main show.

I laughed during the trailer.
My wife (who doesn't really speaks English) didn't understand why because that's what the narrator said which was funny.
i did a translation later when the trailer was available.
Then she laughed.

can't wait to play the game.

Hope it's better than the first. Not a a bad game per se but I played it once and had no intention of replaying it as I was able to get all the best outcomes and endings on my first try. It's way too easy to just make every faction happy and take the point out of making other choices. Also no romance options is kind of lame for an RPG like this.

Nice Trailer.

Will the real game narrative also reflect that.
I mean I would love a game that is self cautious and breaks the 4th wall regularly.

I absolutely despise CGI Trailers at events regardless of whose showing them, which is why I haven't really commented on the Starfield trailer..but I gotta admit the humor in this one and the honesty was a nice change of pace. I also understand why it may have put a few people off tho lol

I hope the Cyberpunk devs saw that trailer lol

The fact that it took a pot shot at the reality of these trailers we all see and everything that goes with it, was fucking brilliant. Brutally honest too and this will definitely be a buy for me.

I enjoyed the first game so excited for this, though it's unfortunately likely a late 2023 or early 2024 game, given there's nothing from the game to show yet and they're busy with Avowed too.

It seems more self-indulgent than "honest", frankly.

"Hehehe, let us joke about shitty industry trends while we do the exact same thing".
