Yeah that first goal you scored against me (Man City) was kinda fucked up if i remember. Like my guys just stood there watching you kick it in doing nothing at all. Guess it is realistic :lol
Overall the games i played i think went much better than i'm used to. I actually scored some goals and won one!

Usually I can keep my composure and keep fighting back when I'm down a goal or two, but I got really pissed off that game for some reason. I just couldn't get anything going. I think what really started it was your first goal with Robinho. I saw the breakaway coming and immediately took control of my CB and started running back towards my own goal. So I had about 2 yards head start. Naturally, Robinho still burned his ass and I did a poor job cutting you off. I've been doing well in those situations all season, but that time I screwed it up. So it goes though. I just hope I can still make the playoffs!

I fucking hate Chelsea and the formation they use. no matter what i do i cant get used to it. I use Arsenal or any other team and i can get men up and score. Anyways i suck.

Man C. uses a 4-3-2-1 i think. I just switch it to a 4-4-2 take switch Elano for Jo and put Robinho where Elano plays. You don't have to use the formations the game gives you. Experiment a bit.

Another reason why I think Custom Match rather than League might be the way to go going forward. If you do Custom Match, it brings your existing formation, tactics, and squad with you, in League you have to start from scratch each time because it resets everything to default.

All moot to me anyway: I'm not hosting a League home game anymore since they often crash out on me at 70 mins even when the game has zero lag up to that point (and apparently others have had this problem) and I've never had a problem with Custom.

Just a question, i'm not giving up or encouraging anyone else to do so, but is there a reason i absolutely must play my game against Ajax? As it stands no matter the result neither of us will be in the playoffs i don't think. I do intend to finish the season.

been a good little tournament guys. Had great games with Exypher and DKwhip yesterday.
I have been a draw specialist. drew about 5 games I think. Mainly due to me missing chances.
enjoyed it though even though I only won 2 games. I have been pretty close in most games so I happy about that.

NEOGAF TOURNAMENT OF LOSERS
- Will include the 4 teams from each conference who just missed the playoffs (seeds 9-12) so 8 teams total.
- Single Elimination
- WILL NOT be conducted through League Daddy
- No stat tracking except scores
- After a completed match, just post the score in this thread and I will update the bracket
- Will begin on December 8th
- WILL NOT be played through the in-game league
- MUST BE PLAYED THROUGH 7 MINUTE CUSTOM UNRANKED MATCHES. WILL INCLUDE OT AND PENALTY KICKS
- TO PLAY A CUSTOM UNRANKED MATCH:
Xbox Live > Online Game Modes > FIFA 09 Match Creation > Head to Head Play > Create Match > Create Unranked Session
You can then change the half length to 7 min and make it a private session and invite your opponent.

it's going to be first place versus last place, using the home/away Champions league format. the final game will be a single game.
After two games, if it's still tied, then you'll have to play a 3rd game with OT/PKs to determine the winner. The 3rd game won't count as far as stats/score except just for who won.

Well id be more than happy to take over Arsenal, i use them all the time and could make some headway with them possibly.
