NeoGAF FFXI FAQ/Starter topic Redux

Yeah, they could set it up so that equipment takes a -% loss of some degree. So, say, a 10 percent loss for a piece of armor that's 40 def would make it 36 def. The bonuses are a little trickier to mete out, though. Maybe decrease all bonuses by one?

Perfect...server was scheduled to go down on Labor Day. Great for me since they added that day to me for work, shitty for most people. Now it's rescheduled to Tuesday >.> My day off...

Ugh. Shit-tastic. WTF they doing this shit for again? THEY JUST DID ALL THE WORLDS

I think they're trying to get Chains online so that it's a relatively smooth release. They'll probably add the patch in on Tuesday.

Both IGN and Gamespot have their impressions of their demo day with COP up as well. A bit more in depth than 1up's overall.

Read the information on the maintenance. :p

As I said in the LS, it's for the CoP patch. Today they're doing maintenance on all of the worlds, and tomorrow there will be a 5 hour period of them getting the update ready (no server downtime with this portion, it seems). Then on the 9th (Thursday) the update will be available for download.

Only place I've seen it is on the FFXI title screen (through the POL Viewer):

Developer's Room --> Announcements --> September Announcements.

I just read through a lot of it, though, and the information isn't matching up... The September Announcements said that the update for CoP would occur on the 13th, and there would be no server downtime accompanying it. But if you go into the "Information" portion, the maintenance notes for today say that the update will be occuring within the next few days (even gives the sizes: 22 MB for PS2, 40 MB for PC), and that the downtime is associated with it.

So I'm confused... Did they just decide to move the update up a week? Split it into two updates? Eh, I guess we'll see.

I think that 13th date is the day for downloading the patch...or something....whatever.

2) Acquire Fire Ring - Fire day of the week : HP-15% Attack+15 Ranged Attack+15

3) Acquire Thunder Ring - Thunder day of the week : HP-15% Accuracy+15 Ranged Accuracy+15 <--- !!!! You kidding me?!?! This is PIMP! Even if it's just one day a week! This is TOPS!

Damn I love free items.

I was off for the long weekend, so I'll catch up on your comments and opinions sometime today or tomorrow.

In the meantime, one question:

Do I have to buy both versions of COP to upgrade both my PC and PS2? or is it just the expansion registration key that matters?

nataku

Member
Yes, I'm sure you would have to buy both. I doubt these pre-patches will give you the entire expansion. You still have to install things from the CD/DVD.

I saw a post on the BST forum from a player on Fairy (Keftenk) speaking about problems with the BST job. Thread is here

Give it a quick read...

Done? Okio. I've been wondering. Similar to players making NIN into a viable tank in the game, was BST originally intended for solo play? Sure, it seems like it. However, considering FFXI is such a PT-centric game, maybe BST is no exception. People ask "Should /NIN or NINs be able to solo higher lvl NMs in the game?" Well, should the question be posed to BSTs are well? Should a BST be able to solo NMs?

Personally, I think BST have it both rough, and easy. BSTs have it easy cuz a full pt of BSTs = XP hording. BSTs have it hard because you share your world with other players hunting the mobs you choose to use as pets. Both sides get upset with each other, yet, both sides are NOT wrong. All there is to it. It's a form of balance in a way.

One thing I must agree with, BSTs should be able to use and skill ranged. And have a fairly high skill lvl in it. To be honest though...I can't say I've seen many /BSTs running around at high lvls o_O

What are your thoughts...as I sit here bored out of my mind cuz I can't play on my hard earned day off? ><

Oh well, whine whine whine.

BSTs can do shit no one else can do, and yet he wants more. So /BST can do almost all BST main can do... no one subs it, so he shouldn't give a shit. He should only start to care when everyone and their dog subs BST.

I mean, shit, BST can use some of the BEST melee equipment in the game, and he's complaing? I think it's OBVIOUS BST wasn't meant to /WHM all the time... they were meant to do damage in normal exp parties as well. He should work on trying to change the way people think of the job.

Part of the problem is that everyone threw BST into the solo role. Yeah, they can do it, and do it well... but they can also work in parties. He's subbing /WHM all the time, he shouldn't expect to be spitting out some 800-1k Rampage. If he wants more damage, he should /NIN or /WAR and try to get into a normal exp party.

Damn, why would they show new screenshots of CoP at TGS2004? I mean, I know its to promote the game, but it comes 4 days before the show....

I think maybe All BST parties with subjobs acting as normal party jobs would be fun. BST/WAR, BST/NIN, BST/WHM, BST/etc. It's essentially a TWELVE man party!

I saw a party while running to Valley today of 6 BSTs with 6 Lizards taking down Manticores. Was great to see. lol

Bottom line is, all jobs in the game work BETTER in a party. Because BST has the ability to solo the best, doesn't mean it should be thoguht of as a solo only job. The fact 18 BST alliance can take down King Behemoth says enough o_O

Keftenk is notoriously whiny =P. Not surprising. I've always been an advocate for BSTs in parties but no in pick-up parties have the brains to know how to use BSTs to their full power (anyone say, BST Pet fights EM/T mobs while the party takes VT/IT mobs? =D) in a party situation. It's like what I've said about most of the people that play the game. They just don't know how to maximize a class' usefulness because they play the job only one-dimensionally.

Yeah, BST is fine and dandy by itself, but a full PT of BST is devastating. They can bring a lot of firepower into a battle. I've heard they're vicious in BCNM where it becomes a time trial to see how fast they can finish it; it's not even a question of If anymore.

What would be really scary is if a high lvl BST LS showed up for Ballista running BST/NIN and went to town on everyone. (Utsusemi + Dual Wield + Jug Pet) X 15 BST = Scary. =O

Woot!

Fought Fafnir today and finally beat the bugger.

AoV 1, Fafnir 5 :(

The first 2 times were serious attempts at him, while I was still LV71-73; the first time around we got him down to 90%... he just regened too much; and this was a few months ago, so our LS was kinda weak back then.

2nd time we did significantly better, bringing him down to 55%, before spiked flail, a devastating massive AOE TP attack, doing anywhere from 1200 to 2500 dmg on people, landed on us and wiped out half our alliance. We learnt that, standing behind him is a very bad idea; if you're behind or even to the side of him and get aggro, he will use spiked flail.

3rd time, I went in and... provoked a darter. then my Thf friend called for help and we had to abandon ship.

4th and 5th times, in the same day, we hit the darters again. In this instance we had way too many spectators; it was causing Fafnir to blink in and out, causing us to lose target of him... not paying attention to the target, and spamming my provoke and flash macro constantly, I managed to hit a darter with flash... on the previous try, another PLD had aggroed a darter in a similar fashion.
When someone aggroes darters, it's over; unless you can keep fafnir slept long enough to clear out all the darters, because after they kill the person who initated aggro, they'll kill everyone else in the PT and alliance.

6th try, I logged into Dragon's Aery dead, having aggroed a spider the night before. Rival LSes were gathering at Dragon's Aery as well, but many of my LS members had logged at Dragon's Aery the night before, as per plan, giving us an advantage over everyone else....
After a half hour of prepping, we stepped in and started fighting with Fafnir...
@ about 15% a firebreath manages to critical through my resistance (150 fire resist; reduces the 1500 dmg attack down to 150 normally), I die... the only other pld manages to stave off a few terrorized effects (which is a 5-30 second unerasable stun) before I eventually get raised and get back up.
Within 10 seconds of full health and going back in to reengage fafnir, with full barfire up... I get toasted by firebreath again.
2nd time raise, step back in, and we manage to bring his health down to 65% the unimaginable happens, and he spike flails our alliance, instantly downing 7-8 members. Shaken, but undeterred, we sleep fafnir and immediately begin raising, throwing R1, R2 and R3 onto everyone. Within minutes we're back up and ready to go; all that time he had been regenerating his health slowly but surely, with us unable to do anything but sleep, for fear of waking him up.
We continue on... getting to the 50% mark, he manages to critical me once again, after a long string of successful resists; I go down... I get back up; and I step in only to be breathed upon before I recieve my carol and barfire.
The other paladin manages to hold on valiantly until I'm raised... she'd done well during the first half of the battle... but it was my time to shine; a similar pattern of criticals and deaths repeated themselves, only this time it was the other paladin getting criticalled while I tried desperately to hold hate through terror.
@10% victory is starting to look like it's in clear sight; but nothing's guaranteed. Again, he criticals me.... the other pld tries desperately to hold on; but this time she goes down as well, before I'm up and ready. The mages sleep him... a few minutes pass, again with his HP regenerating slowly but surely. This time, the two of us get up... and whittle the remaining 10% of his health away; at about 3% HP, we invite the 2 thieves with thief knives in our LS into the alliance.

Upon dropping dead, Fafnir decides to relinquish a good portion of his rare and mighty treasures; a bit of compensation for the many pains he's put us through.

Dropped:
Aegishjalmr; Great Pld helm with +7 enmity on it. I wanted it, but I ceded it to my LS leader, the other Pld.

Hrotti; Great dragon fighting sword; Dragon killer, -10% breath dmg, 48 dmg, +15 fire resist... although I really didn't need it; I fought Fafnir mainly with an earthstaff... and my Joyeuse and Company sword are quite adequate weapons (company sword has +10 dmg when in full PT as a hidden latent effect). I spent a few hours changing the ingame skin of the 3D model to better match the 2D icon in the item description; it looks better now.

Ridill; Supposedly a bastard of a sword to get; some people have gone 0/30 for it. We went 1/1... but then again, it's not often that Fafnir gets poked by 2 thief knifes! The real prize of the battle. Went to our LS lieutenant and treasurer and my good friend; the thief that called help :p

A.Hand Abjuration: Blm hands!

Dragon Scales
Dragon Claw

We'll be going in for a 7th attempt tomorrow. Hopefully the fight will go even smoother this time, now we know pretty much all his quirks.

We got Nidhogg today :(

Down to 20%, then he spiked flail us while lag was high (one of our mages pulled hate, lag, paladin tried to pull while at a 90 degree angle, causing him to pull off spiked flail); we had 5 members left, we tried to recover (we recovered from something similar yesterday), but some of the opportunistic japs that were watching decided that we were down and out, went in and stole it with C4 and invincible... held the fucker for 2.5 hours so that it would be out of NA time zone and then after massive dissent and numerous GM calls, killed him.
The steal raised a shit load of drama, a few other JP LS, including their ALLIES were around to see it unfold... they had a big JP discussion, with a couple members from our LS that could speak JP talking for us... so what was one of the most powerful and respected LS on my server has now had its name dragged through the mud.

Twistedly entertaining in its own way, but I would've prefered to see my LS walk away with an Koenig Cuirass, Adaman Hauberk, Zenith Dalmatica or Crimson Cuisses :(

Sounds fun.

You know...I hear about LS's "having their names dragged through the mud" alot across all servers. Does it really matter? Seriously. There was some SHITTY ass players out there, who aren't "respected," who can't play, and just plain suck (and we've all met them), and they are lvl 75. They're in LS' which get the HNMs, which hit Dynamis, and still team up with others to do shit.

So, since "respect" and "powerful" doesn't mean shit on a personal player lvl, how will be mean anything on an LS lvl?

Here's comes the BOOM

[Event-Related]

A "Chains of Promathia" page has been added to the mission menu.

A new quest to increase the size of a player's gobbiebag has been implemented. A player must have completed the "Gobbiebag IV" quest in order for the new quest to be triggered.

Several new key items can now be purchased with guild points. Using these key items allows players to synthesize a plethora of new, never-before- seen products.
The key item obtainable at the Fishermen's Guild improves an angler's chances of catching certain prey.

The following changes have been made to Ballista:
-A variety of new items can be dug up using the /quarry command.
-When the special rule, "The potency of Sleep will be decreased" is applied in Ballista　match, players will gradually build up a resistance to Sleep if the spell is continuously cast on them. This resistance will wear off with time if the spell is not cast on them.
-If the Chains of Promathia expansion pack is installed, exclusive Conflict BGM will play during all matches.

A new activity known as "clamming" is now available on the coast of a certain area.

Two new regions--the Tavnazian Archipelago and Movalpolos--have been added. Also, a number of new areas have been added to existing regions.

New "escort" quests have been added. In addition, players will now be able to cancel a previously accepted escort quest if they do not wish to complete it.

Dozens of new quests have been added in all four nations, as well as the new Chains of Promathia areas.

Nomad Moogles have been placed in several new areas.

The area a player reappears in after completing the Zilart mission "The Celestial Nexus" has been adjusted. This change does not affect any aspects of the story.

The number of areas where players can fish monsters has been increased.

[Battle-Related]

A variety of new monsters have been added to the Chains of Promathia areas.
Some of these enemies have the ability to see through Sneak and Invisible spells.

The range of select monsters' ranged and area attacks has been adjusted.

Elementals can now use enhancing magic.

Monsters caught while fishing, as well as those that appear when the security system of the "matter emulators" is in effect, will now only attack the player that caused the monster to spawn. However, these monsters can be attacked by anyone (as long as the color of the name has not changed to purple).

The viral attacks used by certain Chains of Promathia monsters have new detrimental effects.

The maximum amount of experience that can be earned from a single battle has been increased to 250 for players from level 51-60, and to 300 for players from level 61-75. In accordance with this change, the maximum amount of experience that can be earned during EXP chains has also been increased.

The "Moogle Merit Management" system that was introduced in the July 2004 version update has been expanded.
[HP/MP]
Max HP / Max MP

[Attributes]
STR/ DEX/ VIT/ AGI / INT / MND / CHR

[Combat Skills]
Hand-to-Hand Skill / Dagger Skill / Sword Skill / Great Sword Skill / Axe Skill / Great Axe Skill / Scythe Skill / Polearm Skill / Katana Skill / Great Katana Skill / Club Skill / Staff Skill / Archery Skill / Marksmanship Skill / Throwing Skill / Guarding Skill / Evasion Skill / Shield Skill / Parrying Skill

[Magic Skills]
Divine Magic Skill / Healing Magic Skill / Enhancing Magic Skill / Enfeebling Magic Skill / Elemental Magic Skill / Dark Magic Skill / Singing Skill / String Instrument Skill / Wind Instrument Skill / Ninjutsu Skill / Summoning Magic Skill

[Other Skills]
Enmity Increase / Enmity Decrease / Critical Hit Rate / Enemy Critical Hit Rate / Spell Interruption Rate

Only the skills which current level 75 job possess can be increased.
The attributes in each of the above five categories can only be raised a limited number of times. This is known as a “combination.”
Depending on his/her main job, raising combat skill may not necessarily allow a player to use certain weapon skills, which can be learned through quests.

For more detailed information on Moogle Merit Management, select "Game Guide" from the FINAL FANTASY XI top page and read the “Merit Points” section located in the manual under "Game Basics."

The effect of Enhancing Magic will wear off upon entering areas with level restriction or battlefields related to those areas.

Players will now receive experience points when fighting monsters in level-restricted areas (this only applies when fighting in the new Chains of Promathia areas). The amount earned per battle will be calculated using the following two methods, with the player receiving the higher total of the two:
(a) EXP calculations made based on current party level and number of party members * 0.5
(b) EXP calculations made based on actual party level (before level was restricted) and number of party members * 1.0

EXP chain bonuses are based on the party level before the restriction.
When in merit point accumulation mode, all EXP earned in this fashion will be changed to limit points.

When a player is KO'd while in a level-restricted area, the amount of EXP lost is determined by the player's level after entering the area.

The MP cost for the white magic spell Dia II has been reduced from 59 to 30.

The MP costs for the black magic spells Bio and Bio II have been reduced from 22 and 66 to 15 and 36, respectively. In addition, the amount of damage caused by the spells will now be affected by the caster’s dark magic skill. This adjustment also affects the damage caused by Bio III (used only by monsters).

"Scythe" has been added to a black mage's combat skills. Black mages will now be able to equip certain new weapons.

The skillchain element of the dagger weapon ability "Evisceration" has been changed.

The recast time for the paladin ability "cover" has been lowered from 5 minutes to 3.

The level required for paladins to use the white magic spell "Raise" has been lowered from 75 to 50.

The area of effect for bard "etudes" has been changed to "single party member." Also, the casting time of these songs has been substantially reduced.

The casting time of the bard song "Goddess's Hymnus" has been reduced.

The effectiveness of the ninjutsu "Utsusemi" now relies on the type of attack that is being used on the caster. When attacked, the following five outcomes can occur:

Caster evades attack and one "copy image" is lost.
This normally occurs when the caster is hit with a single physical or magical attack.

The number of lost copy images varies.
This normally occurs when the caster is hit with an area attack such as Whirl of Rage. The number of copy images lost (and extra damage taken) is calculated by taking into account the potency of the attack as well as the caster's current ninjutsu skill level.

All copy images are lost and the caster takes damage.
This normally occurs when the caster is hit with an area attack spell such as Firega.

The caster takes damage without losing any of his/her copy images.
This normally occurs when the caster is hit with breath, or self-destruct type attacks.

The caster is enfeebled without losing any of his/her copy images.
This normally occurs when the caster is hit with an enfeebling spell that does not inflict damage, such as Silence.
All enemy attacks fall into one of the above categories.
The copy images created by the spells Blink and Aerial Armor can also be removed in the same manner as that explained under "the number of lost copy images varies" (above).

The dragoon weapon skill "Wheeling Thrust" has been enhanced.

Dragoons are now able to equip select throwing weapons.

When a dragoon uses the "Super Jump" ability during a battle, now his/her wyvern will also perform a super jump, preventing the monster from attacking the pet. However, this jump will not affect the wyvern's enmity.

Avatars can now participate in skillchains and magic bursts by carefully timing the use of the ability "Blood Pact."

The damage and accuracy of several avatar attacks have been adjusted.

The macro command <pettp> can be used to view a pet, wyvern, or avatar’s current TP.
The charmed pet’s TP decreasing, while it is not in the combat mode, is by design.

Avatar TP will now affect the damage of select magical Blood Pact attacks. Just as with normal player TP, after the attack, the avatar's TP will be reset to zero. Avatar TP does not affect physical, enhancing, or enfeebling Blood Pact techniques, and thus will not be lost after an avatar uses one of these abilities.

It is necessary to defeat the monster's wyvern to complete the orb battle, "Amphibian Assault" successfully. The "Amphibian Assault" can be accessed from Sacrificial Chamber by using the Moon Orb.

[Item- Related]

Two new types of weapons and armor--"enchanted" and "dispensing"--have been added.

1 -> The item's "charge" number
This number indicates how many times a player can use the item's special properties.
Example: 28/30 shows the item's special properties have been used twice out of a total of 30 times.
Note: Only fully "charged" items can be placed on auction.

2 -> Counter
The moment an enchanted or dispensing item is equipped or used, this timer begins to count down. When it has reached zero, the player will be able to activate the item's special properties.
To activate these properties, select the equipment from the item menu and "use" it.

3 -> Recast Time
The amount of time required to reuse the item's special properties.

4 -> Equip Delay
The amount of time a player must wait after equipping the item until he/she can activate its special properties.

Mission Rank 10 conquest items are now available. These cannot be obtained from the Ducal Guards in Jeuno.

New vendors selling specialty goods from new regions have appeared in Windurst, San d'Oria, and Bastok.

Several shops are now offering new items.

A number of new items, weapons, and armor have been introduced.

The buying price for Padded Caps has been adjusted.

An issue where players wearing cursed armor would "intimidate" themselves has been addressed.

Players can now revoke their "craftsman" (or above) status by talking to a guildmaster when the following conditions are met:
1) The crafting skill at that guild is over 60.
2) The crafting skill at that guild is the highest of all the player's skills.
3) The player is a registered craftsman in at least one other guild.
If the player chooses to revoke his/her status in a certain guild, his/her rank will automatically be lowered to "journeyman" and his/her skill lowered to 60.

Several new synthesis recipes have been added.

The chance of catching "rusty caps" while fishing has been adjusted in several areas.

Players now have the option to jump directly to the FINAL FANTASY XI top page when starting up the PlayOnline Viewer. To do this the following steps must be taken:
PlayStation®2 users -> Placing the FINAL FANTASY XI: Chains of Promathia disc in the tray when starting the viewer will take a player directly to the FINAL FANTASY XI top page.
Windows users -> Double- clicking the FINAL FANTASY XI desktop shortcut will take players into the PlayOnline Viewer. By adjusting "shortcut commands" within the viewer's main menu, a player can choose to have the FINAL FANTASY XI desktop shortcut take him/her directly to the FINAL FANTASY XI top page.
By using the new text command /shutdown, players can log out of FINAL FANTASY XI and the PlayOnline Viewer simultaneously. This command will shut down a PlayStation®2 user's console, while it will take a Windows user back to his/her desktop.

The macro command <pettp> can be used to view a pet, wyvern, or avatar’s current TP.
The charmed pet’s TP decreasing, while it is not in the combat mode, is by design.

Wyvern TP? But no metion of it after that... odd.

Hmmmm time to dissect this a bit.

- A new quest to increase the size of a player's gobbiebag has been implemented. A player must have completed the "Gobbiebag IV" quest in order for the new quest to be triggered.

Coolio. More space = good. As long as it isn't fuckin 100k to do ><

- Several new key items can now be purchased with guild points. Using these key items allows players to synthesize a plethora of new, never-before- seen products.
The key item obtainable at the Fishermen's Guild improves an angler's chances of catching certain prey.

This is pretty nice. With the Padded Cap "change" now we're have fishers targeting Black Sole/Breams and other fish. Which doesn't solve any of the "problems" people bitch about! HA!

- Two new regions--the Tavnazian Archipelago and Movalpolos--have been added. Also, a number of new areas have been added to existing regions.

I assume you get these when you install COP? Or get them NOW? o_O

- Dozens of new quests have been added in all four nations, as well as the new Chains of Promathia areas.

always good for the quest junkies

- Nomad Moogles have been placed in several new areas.

Selbina and Mhaura maybe? KTHX

- The number of areas where players can fish monsters has been increased.

Interesting...

- A variety of new monsters have been added to the Chains of Promathia areas.
Some of these enemies have the ability to see through Sneak and Invisible spells.

Oooo pwnage. Maybe more Deod mobs?

- Monsters caught while fishing, as well as those that appear when the security system of the "matter emulators" is in effect, will now only attack the player that caused the monster to spawn. However, these monsters can be attacked by anyone (as long as the color of the name has not changed to purple).

wtf does this mean? "Matter emulators?" I wish they'd nerf the shit out of sneak fishing while nerfing Padded Caps too.

- The maximum amount of experience that can be earned from a single battle has been increased to 250 for players from level 51-60, and to 300 for players from level 61-75. In accordance with this change, the maximum amount of experience that can be earned during EXP chains has also been increased.

WOOOOOT! More xp!

- In regards to the merit point system...these caught my eye being a MNK and all... "Enmity Increase / Enmity Decrease / Critical Hit Rate / Enemy Critical Hit Rate / Spell Interruption Rate"

MNK with less enmity and higher Crit rate?! SIGN ME UP!

- "Scythe" has been added to a black mage's combat skills. Black mages will now be able to equip certain new weapons.

Er...why?

- The effectiveness of the ninjutsu "Utsusemi" now relies on the type of attack that is being used on the caster. When attacked, the following five outcomes can occur: blah blah blah

Hmmm...some definite adjustments will need to be made for NINs. Also, no word on Utsu: San?! Poor job class ><

- Two new types of weapons and armor--"enchanted" and "dispensing"--have been added.

This could be very cool...and very expensive to buy ;_;

- Damage calculation of the following weapons has been adjusted. Damage will now be more directly related to the attacker's STR and the defender's VIT.

So, withthis statement, did they mean that these weapons listed are more affected with STR/VIT? Or damage in GENERAL? Hmmm...

Overall, interesting, while laying down the hurt on fisherman and Ninjas. Still vague on details though ><

All the weapons mentioned seem to be recently added in patches and etc. This means they were using a wonky formula compared to the standard-issue gear. Oh and take a look at that list of shit. There's stuff on it that I haven't even heard of o_O.

Scythe-wielding BLMs don't mean squat XD. Just means they can try meleeing more now but for probably shitty damage. It'd be nice to see BLMs running around with back-scratches though.

More XP = omfg 75 easy for us! XD

The buying price for Padded Caps has been adjusted.

MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Edit:

New equipment sounds interesting (the ones with charges, etc.)

I'm only counting 2 new regions and 31 new areas. What happened to 40+ areas and 4 new regions? Are these, for some reason, just not being listed in "Place names" or did they pull a fast one on us? :p Of course, I think 4 new regions might've been a rumor, but I thought 40+ new areas came from the mouths of the devs themselves. They could also pull that crap where multiple maps in a zone count as more than one area. :p

Also, needs more THF love, but the exp bonus sounds nifty. It IS going to make catching up a lot easier!

Edit 2: How many of these features are being introduced and when? Obviously some of them will come with CoP, but will some of them come early? The ones that don't depend on CoP to be a part of the game (i.e. the XP changes)?

I dunno, that doesn't make much sense to make some weapons use one formula and not another set. Don't care for that idea much.

Belfast, you're finished with the boots and pin right?
uhoh2.gif
I kinda need them again. Lizzy was a pain. We might have to camp that together. I'll surely help you get the pin.

Yay to new quests and a new gobbiebag!
That more xp thing rocks, not because to catch up, but to make all the dying I do not suck so much.

Oh, I did my first BCNM run over the weekend and loved it! Drops weren't that great though. :p

Wouldn't quite say *finished* (could I ever be with thosE?), but they ARE yours. I can't remember if I still have the boots I had before, but I still have the hat I was using....
