Just wondering where you got the vest. My cousin has a one-year old chocolate lab and I'd love to get something like it for his dog. Will probably very useful once the weather turns a bit warmer.

My Great Dane wears one with water in it on walks around the neighborhood all the time. It's so he stays used to it for when he goes backpacking with me and has to carry his own food.

Umm, not everybody has dogs and is a sophisticated Republican like you.

All most of us saw was a sad looking dog with a heavy weight on its back. .hacked explained what it was/is for and it all made sense.

just got my hori PS3 fight stick and my Acer Revo just came $169 shipped for an Nvidia ION Nettop!

Will post more end of month when I get the big haul.

Loving my xbox more than usual lately. Grabbed the hardened edition for $59 and bought the xbox live and points for $10 off each. Nice timely deals as my sub was about to run out.

I grabbed a bunch of steam games too.

- Blackest Night 0, 1 and a Black Lantern ring. I already have a copy of 1, but I wanted it for my display. It's also nice to find a BL ring when I wasn't expecting one. Gonna get 2 copies of issue 8, and put one in the case next to 1.
- Lost at Sea and the Simpsons Season 11. I've been wanting O'Malley's previous work, and I also now have seasons 1-12 of the Simpsons. Time to rip 'em to my external.
- District 9 and Hellboy II on Blu-Ray. Been waiting on Hellboy II for a while to hit $20, plus I heard good things 'bout D9.
- Infinite Crisis Superboy Prime figure. My favorite villian, so I would NEED his figure.

Picked up a few vinyls, haven't given any of 'em a listen yet. Saw the Mass Effect art book in the Secret Santa thread, couldn't resist picking up a copy for myself. Finally took the plunge and bought almost all the Walking Dead TP's, I can't for the life of my seem to find anywhere local that has the 11th and Amazon is out of stock. Also, just noticed now that the zombies on the covers fit together, mind=blown.

How's Walking Dead after issue #48? Bought the first compendium and read through it, but not sure if I should get the TPBs now or wait for the next compendium.

From what I've read so far things are getting pretty interesting, not sure how patient you are about waiting for the next compendium to come out but I'd suggest grabbing the TPB's.

some guy had two brand new ones for that price.
This little nettop is awesome (and I'm an IT tech with 6 years under me)

what sucks is that this doesn't have wifi built in so I picked up a an N adapter for $14 and a BT 2.1 EDR adapter for $2 as well as another 1GB stick for $10

so my total price was almost 200...but I loaded Win 7 ultimate last night and this thing is flying.
Hulu plays HD just fine and there is little to no lag in multitasking.

I HIGHLY recommend this for windows users.... (I'm an apple person) but need to start learning 7 for work...

as much as preach the gospel of Jobs....this is one freaking awesome little machine...
the ION chipset is great and having an HDMI output is cool...

for the price (and that is what it the sealer) you can't beat it...

Acer has a sleeper hit on it's hands.

ebay, gaddamnit.. :/ I'm thinking of replacing my stationary comp (since I really only use my macbook anyway) with some nettop thingy. Maybe use it as a server and/or htpc... But I guess it's hard to find such a great deal here in Sweden, importing one could be costly. :(

Now, you said it plays Hulu just fine? I noticed in this lifehacker article (which is where this thing caught my eye) that it doesn't handle Hulu/Youtube very well because of Flash or whatnot.

I mainly would like to use it to play backups of my movie collection (which has grown so big that I don't have the space anymore and will have to move to a drastic storage solution), anime, music and so forth. If it can do Hulu/Youtube pretty decently, I would be set.

Currently, it's only $200 on Newegg as well.
