how the hell does the accounting get even worse when I move 27 million off the books. Makes no sense
Strange. In the game it shows all those guys contracts as 507,500
They were traded, sat in DFA, and then cleared waivers. Ugh. So when I make the trade I also have to assign guys to their respective teams.
Is that because of how long we sim for between updates? Would this be an issue in the future for other areas? i.e. waiver pickups later in the season post-trade deadline, etc.
On a related note, Pence is about to be available to start his rehab assignment in like a day or two in-game, but because of our sim intervals does that mean I would essentially have him wait around a week before he could get started on that? I mainly ask because I now have 2 other outfielders injured on the 15-day DL and would really like to get Pence started on his rehab ASAP.
I think you can assign your assistant GM to manage day to day things like that during the Sim.
I'll take a look.
Yep...
Manager Screen -> Control & Auto-Play Settings tab
You can basically set everything to be managed by your assistant GM if you want.
Alright, all contracts fixed and players moved to correct teams. Going to try uploading the files without advancing any days.
Getting an error "Could not download file" on the re-download.
still uploading, give it ten
Just a note, you can import the changes you made after downloading the refreshed league file

I see this now.
SHITTTT.
Luckily I didn't have that much to redo.
I still need a LF. Also, a lefty SP would be nice.
Already doneASTROS and CARDINALS
Get down to the 25 man before uploading.
So I gotta redo all my changes? Or do I just export, download, import, upload?
I had a bunch of custom lineups for the next week because of injury stuff.

Jeremy Hellickson can be had for free if someone takes Bronson Arroyo with him
If you already exported those changes AND you have nothing left to do, you shouldn't do anything. In this particular case the export reader will show as being wrong, but it doesn't matter
You only need to do something if you re-downloaded the league file after it was re-created. It has no pertinent changes to you, so you shouldn't do that, but if you did, you could just import the changes you made.
That's really going to cut into your doing nothing else time!
what are the contracts?
Yankees have some money to play with.
Changed waiver period to 8 days, should solve our problems.
Rommel, you're going to have no ticket sales!
CARDINALS
TWINS
RAYS
You guys only have 24 men on the active roster. Just an FYI.
