Is this the long rumored rewrite?
No. It's a 4.x release. Very nice update otherwise. The previous gesture animation to go back to the reading list didn't make sense. Glad it slides to the right now.Is this the long rumored rewrite?
I'm getting Apple TV tomorrow to pair with my iPad. What are good apps for that? Here's what I gathered, please feel free to add. Pay or free doesn't matter:
-Remote
-Netflix (don't know how ATV works though am I supposed to use the app or the app from Apple TV?)
-PBS
-TED
-Showyou
-Qello
For Netflix, use the AppleTV one.
Personally the default apps are the ones I use the most--beaming pictures from photos, playing videos off the iOS device. I do use UStream every so often when there's a live event I want to watch there, but I'd rather have it on my TV.
The official one.Opinion. What's the best iPhone/iPod touch Facebook app?
The official one is shit honestly. It's based off the site. The site runs better on a mobile browser then the app.The official one.
I never understood this. What's so shitty about it, exactly? It gets the job done, imo.The official one is shit honestly. It's based off the site. The site runs better on a mobile browser then the app.
Beautiful. Just how long before Apple buys Instapaper and/or integrates it with their reading list/reader feature? It has to happen eventually, but it's going to suck to see Insta and others bite the dust because of it.Instapaper 4.2
I've noticed the page-turn animation isn't quite as nice and buttery smooth as iBooks' is.
Apple doesn't really do that with small-scale features. They buy companies that do stuff they can plan on integrating long-term and then pitching it as marquee feature (Siri).I never understood this. What's so shitty about it, exactly? It gets the job done, imo.

Plex. I used to have my ATVS jail broken running plex, but now I just use plex on the iPad and AirPlay to the ATV

It's super slow. That's the main problem.I never understood this. What's so shitty about it, exactly? It gets the job done, imo.
Even on my home connection it's shitty. There are alternatives in the app store. I'm just unsure which one is the best. When i'm on a weak connection (esp. poor 3G, for example) that can happen to me, the loss of replies, not updating most recent comments on a page, etc. But when i'm not, it's pretty reliable.
So is there no alternative whatsoever? And if so, why? Seems odd that there wouldn't be something better at this point.
I want to make beautiful charts on my iPad. What is the best App for that?
I want to wach the NBA. What is the best App for that?
Keynote?
I just found iPlustv i works great.I think the NBA requires League Pass for anyone to stream games, but I could be wrong.
The Courtside app is really nice but only does highlights.

What's the best app for uploading images that can then be share such as on Neogaf?
Personally I use Picup (which is integrated with IMGUR).
I started a company that build a 3G speedtest platform, to test and compare the performance of the mobile operators. Currently we are live in The Netherlands and we just started in the UK.
This is how it works:
With the app you can check and compare your mobile connection and on the website you can track all your results and find the average of all your measurements.
All the measurements get uploaded into our database, and on the website we can compare all the operators ( in a country and also city ).
The website: www.blitsen.com
The Android app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.grappetite.blitsen.speed.basic&hl=nl
The iPhone app:
http://itunes.apple.com/nl/app/b.-speed/id481979801?mt=8
Also for both versions there is an ad-free version available.
Hope you like it, would love to hear your feedback!

Sorry if this has been asked many times before hand many times, but what's the easiest way to view cbr files (comics) on a iPad?
Thanks.
easiest for me is to store them on dropbox and then use comicglass or bookman pro to browse and view them.
