Might check out an episode or two. Seen some of it being shot while out and about at a few cons, so I'm curious as to how the various twists and turns will be shown on TV.
Working my way through Anime Expo photos. Only managed to go on Saturday and Sunday due to work, and sadly had to miss a few things I wanted to see like the Fire Emblem gathering. Here are some samples!

Sorry no helps here. But I'm actually flying to Cali tonight and just noticed that ComicCon is next weekend, which I'm leaving the 20th. Is it required to purchase a badge or can I just show up for one day and pay at the front? Everything is sold out on the comiccon website. I've never been to a 'con' before and comiccon seems really big to me.
Assuming you're a guy, if you have the confidence to do it, Khal Drogo always seems like a safe bet. If female... I don't actually watch the show to know what would go well with Daenerys. XD
You won't be able to buy a badge or get in the main convention center without one. However, there is a whole bunch of stuff to do outside that doesn't require a badge.

You can generally lurk outside the convention center and still see lots of great costumes, too.

Regardless of species, she got an attack bird and her perching mitt even coordinates with her costume. That's just crazy.

I don't know if I've ever replied in this thread but I had to for this. That's very impressive work. Do you two both work on it or are one of you more into doing the makeup and costumes and both simply take part? I had a roommate that started getting into some of the makeup effects style stuff and she did both of our faces while I handled my costume for Halloween some four years ago or so and it was really neat having that sort of thing done on me and seeing the change.
Excellent job all around. I'm hoping if it's not already part of a career for one or both of you that whoever is doing the work is possibly pursuing it. Heh, or try to get onto that show about the monster makeup stuff?
She's the one that does it all and applies all the prosthetics and makeup to me. I did make my Elvish robes though. Bought like 7 yards of wool and sewed it myself but that's about it. She makes the masks, swords, armor, prosthetics, sculpts, etc. Thanks though, glad you like em. She has a lot more stuff that's not in that folder but the quality of some of the pics aren't great.

That, and a lot of her costumes seem to revolve around modifications in order to show skin and those assets (I know next to nothing about cosplaying, just something I noticed lol)
