Logan Cano said:pretty unimpressive. It reminds me of DMC3 in HD with a bit of bump mapping, hopefully the gameplay makes up for it.

AdmiralViscen said:This doesn't look anything close to bad. It looks awesome, with a few less-than amazing textures (but plenty of good ones).
Lair 360 confirmed? Why slag a game just because it's multiplat?
Logan Cano said:Well, I believe than if the game had been coded specifically to the strenghts of the PS3, we would have received a much, much better looking game than. Nothing against multiplatform titles per se, but it just would have been so much better if Capcom hadn´t decided to whore the DMC franchise to all platforms.
soul said:That looks pretty nice -- But there are better games. Lost Planet *cough*
slade said:It would have looked the same as it does now because the game is still using the Framework Engine. This has nothing to do with the 360 port and everything to do with Capcom's approach to next gen.

The game looks fantastic.
And a port (which by all accounts is being done with care) does not represent "whoring," nor do 2 platforms represent "all."
Bitter tears etc
Logan Cano said:And just like Lost Planet, I just don´t get the "looks fantastic" comments. Low res textures coupled with a lack of any "next gen" effects such as normal mapping with blocky looking characters and environments are not my thing. At least this one runs at 60fps.

Indeed. RE4 HD total. My Arms Your Hearse said:As I've consistently maintained sine before we even saw the first media of this game... it is nothing remotely special in the graphics department and it never will be. Oh Capcom, you really need to spruce up your engine, it's failing hard.

I think this thread has shown there is a new type of troll : "the, it doesn't look good cus its a multiplatform game" troll :lol
Simple thought process : Lost Planet looked great, Dead Rising looked great, DMC4 is with a more updated engine, 60 fps, better art design with a more talented development team with probably a larger budget. By natural logic, it'll look better than two already graphically revered titles.
Why don't you mention a game with "awesome" ground textures then?Jeseus said:ground textures :lol
hrmmm. it had shadows back then but it also ran at like 5 fps.abacab driver said:Anyone saying this game doesnt look impressive, or "dmc 3 hd" needs to stay their ass in last-gen, because they don't know what theyre getting.
I mean come on..dmc3 hd!?
